It was very well movie made in Lebanon
Wasn't sure what to expect... then it got me and didn't let. A rare discovery of a fine film. Will not forget this one...
Beautiful film from a to z. It has a wonderful message and takes us to a time and place not many of us in the U.S. are familiar with. Everyone should see it. I cannot wait to see what this director does next. This film is a polished jewel.
Beautiful movie, picture, sound, actors a lot of emotions, loved it!
A delicate but real and powerful view of the way people feel when the specter of war is coming home, viewed from the perspective of a school, particularly through the eyes of a child (11 or 12) and a teacher. It certainly touches our emotional fibers.
This film is more than a war story. Its universal yet identical to some of my memories of the time. The filmmaker did an excellent job depicting the lives of Lebanese people and how they interacted and still interact during war time. A true period piece but very relatable to the present.
Unexpected - just quite a profound film.
A beautiful sad story that is very relatable for anyone who grew up in a war. This is love story that takes place in just 1 day at a school, where the only antagonist is the sound of bombe and fighter jets. The movie is very heart warming and is a must see.
