21 Bridges Reviews
Good Movie!!! Recommended!!! A++ 🍿🎥🍿
It was a good movie
It's a good enough action flick, with a good story behind it. With its mustering of a solid cast, it promises to deliver on the aforementioned, but it fails to pull everything together. The result is something enjoyable to watch with elements of suspense
"21 Bridges" does not bring much new to the table. Some people may call it "formulaic" or "by the numbers". But, if you are going to steal for inspiration, steal from the best. This movie borrows a bit from "The Fugitive", takes a few parts from "The Enforcer" and sprinkles in a bit of "Crime Story". You can call me an easy mark for this type of no-nonsense cop story, but I really enjoyed this film. It takes all the best tropes from the genre and deliver it in a sharply edited, smartly written and well-acted feature. The story does an excellent job with character work, there aren't many films where I find myself asking both: "How will they catch this guy?" and "How will this guy get away?" Chadwick Boseman was a generational talent, and he delivered a great believable performance like always. Speaking of people that came to work, JK Simmons and Keith David are in this film. They are always a delight. The story might not be anything groundbreaking, but the quality of presentation makes the movie stand out. For all the other reasons it was a tragedy, it is a shame that Boseman couldn't be around for the possible sequels of this film. This could have been a franchise equal to "The Equalizer" or "John Wick".
Chadwick Boseman is brilliant in this film however, it’s a shame that the story can be hard to understand what is properly going on at times. It’s a decent plot but it’s hard to understand what the message of the film is meant to be. I will say though, it had a good twist at the end.
A promising opening turns into a deeply predictable and pointless ending that lacked any drama. I was hoping for something better with Chadwick at the helm. If you want an excellent crime drama with Boseman, go for Message From the King instead.
I enjoyed this movie. R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman
F-bomb ... what the F-bomb is this f-bombing crime movie? Enough F-bombs to build 21 f-bombing bridges. Anyways, f-bomb f-bombing corrupt cops. Spoink
I wouldn't necessarily recommend this movie but it was enjoyable enough. Good acting and a predictable storyline but even with that I'll give it a pass. I must say it became a lot better later in the movie when Sienna Miller lost her horrible, over the top, fake New York accent.
It starts out well, but they have tried to put too much in here, and what could have been a good movie becomes predictable, with who the bad and good guys are. Making just another good cop bad cop movie
Fairly Well made thriller. It looks stylish, but lacks any real intensity, as there are far too many convenient outcomes for the cops. As such, it's not particularly believable. Decent acting, especially from JK Simmons and chief baddie Taylor Kitsch. Otherwise, it's mainly a glorified extended chase and shoot out scene. Okay, but don't expect to really hold your attention.
It is late night in Brooklyn and two small time crooks, Michael and Ray break into a wine store to steal 30 kilos of cocaine. It was supposed to be a easy heist, in and out. But things go sideways... there is 300 kilos and there are cops, and then a bloody shootout, resulting in 8 dead cops. Enter Andre Davis, NYPD Detective who heads the manhunt for these two cop killers. In desperation Andre shuts down thr entire Manhattan Island, no exit or entry to the island including the 21 Bridges. "We got twenty-one bridges in and out of Manhattan. Shut them down. Three rivers. Close them. Four tunnels. Block them. Stop every train and loop the subways. Then, we flood the island with blue" - Andre Davis: As the night hunt moves on, Andre begins to discover evidence that may link some police officers to a criminal organization. Now who is he really hunting and he is he being set up. 21 Bridges is a OK movie. It looks and feels like a 온라인카지노추천 police drama. The actors are awesome and there are a few twist and turns, but I was way ahead of the plot. Still worth the watch. Cast - Chadwick Boseman, Sienna Miller, J. K. Simmons, Keith David, Stephan James, Taylor Kitsch
The twist at the ending was predictable.
Yessss. Finally. A totally entertaining tale of a familiar story. Everyone was great in this, a simple plot that was easy to follow but done in such a way where every second mattered, twists were what they should be and action was forefront. So entertaining and refreshing in its believability. Great movie.
One of the best crime/action movies I've seen. Chadwick Boseman doesn't get the credit he deserves for his role in the movie. The plot is touching and it is a truly amazing movie. Is violent and could be seen as quite scary, hence the R rating, but it is a great movie and perfect for teens, young adults, and adults.
I enjoyed this one overall as it has some intense police chases along with plot twists that keep you guessing who's the main culprit behind everything. Good cast also as Chadwick & Sienna help to carry the story
An interesting name for a movie which refers to the no. Of bridges that are closed off in order to catch the bad guys. An action packed adventure filled with intrigue.
