5 Broken Cameras Reviews
I love the transparency of the movie, and showing to the world what's really is happening in Palestine🇵🇸.
It was a good way to see how Palestinians live and what they have to go through. It's so sad but good to learn
Really impactful documentary highlighting the struggle of the Palestinian people due to the occupation of Israel forces. It gives context for the current genocide Israel is waging against the Palestinian people with the support of western countries including the United States.
A beautifully made film that trully takes its viewer into the heart of the occupied West Bank. It connects you with the real life victims of the oppresive system and portrays the reality of a childhood shaped and stolen by it. Needless to say I cried on numerous occasions and will never forget it. A must watch for everyone regardless of our background!
Amazing film. Must see viewing.
Yes, you must watch this movie, it tells so much. You will learn so much from it.
This movie is an eye opener, from the perspective of an average person
It's these documentaries that gives us intimate access to controversial incidents occurring overseas, usually taking away from viewing it is understanding and a rebellious sense, even if the convoluting alienated gist of the situation gets firmly grasped as it proceeds. Journalist Emad Burnat documents the turmoil's beginning and societal impacts with an intriguing structure as titled and captivatingly presented that builds up with a revolutionizing push then cause to strengthen in criticizingly calling out against governmental systems that are disregarding community specifically partially beneath unity. Generally spreading awareness to garner support with the surrounding truth captured, albeit the fact militarism situated there are pitifully ignorant in not helping on protective imagery as the people consensus proves meaningfully higher with affecting results. Shocking documentary that shows the reality of what has been happening with the palestinians. It shows the abuses and violence of the israeli army.
This remarkable documentary, and its filmmaker, is important as we are invited to witness the realty of a new Israeli settlement being built adjacent to a Palestinian village. A gift to experience the process from the Palestinian point of view. This film could open conversation in the middle east.
An emotional documentary that shows the Palestinian and Isreal conflict from the side we rarely get to see. This is the uncensored reality in Palestine showing the often brutal side of the Isreali people. Almost every shot in the film poses some risk to the filmmaker and his determination to communicate what is actually going on and how it effects the civilian population is incredible.
A brave piece of film making. This isn't an even battle and whilst this isn't the most balanced analysis of Israel/Palestine it shows the shameless oppression inflicted on ordinary Palestinians by the heavily armed Israeli army. Unflinching front line images that should shake anyone who see's them.
Very powerful real life depiction of the abuses and the constant oppression the Palestinians have to endure in their own land. Who thought the arabs could be so much more Christian than the jews? Here we see the jews at their worst. They are stealing, destroying, beating, killing, emprisoning and they have no real reason to do so. I don't know many people that could endure this without fighting back in the most violent ways. Palestinians are not free and deserve so much more. It is now known that Zionism is simply Nazism with jew flavor. These jews are not religious at all, they are psychopaths with the licence to kill and abuse as they wish. All jewish "settlers" should be removed from the land and their houses either dismantled, destroyed or recycled as Palestinians homes. It makes me think of the invasion of America by englishes but without smallpox available. Bloodily outrageous!
not terribly uplifting, but i'm glad i saw it. the tenacity is really something, in the most desperate circumstances.
5 Broken Cameras is a strong documentary that will let you see a side of the Israel/Palestine conflict that we so often don't get to see in this pro-Israel country. A documentary that needs to be seen and will leave its mark on the viewers willing to challenge their ideas of who is right and who is wrong in the disturbing conflict that seemingly has no end.
