88 Minutes Reviews
I expected better seeing Mr. Pacino in top billing but this movie just falls flat on all accounts.
Though sloppily directed with lowbrow inferiority and unconvincing characterized efforts whilst disjointed, it’s a lesser thriller that hooks only to the minimum without much substance that leaves Al Pacino to make the best out of the given material under problematic execution. (C)
88 minutes went by like 2 1/2 hours . The movie is ok but if they would have tightened it up it would have been much better
An average Al Pacino action film where he is contacted by a serial killer telling him he has 88 minutes left to live.
Awesome Movie!! And it's a must watch period!!
Everything I look for in a good suspense film, well worth the watch.
I was hoping for more suspense. It's more like a suspense-drama.
Pick the worst episode of "Law and Order" or any other 온라인카지노추천 crime show, and it will be 10 times better than this. I mean that. Pacino has been in some bad movies, but this one is beyond shameful. Bad dialogue, amateur direction, amateurish supporting actors. What a disaster.
I watched this because of Al Pacino. Sad.
I think 🤔 it's great thriller I liked watching Al pacino as a forensic psyciatrist... I identified with him and was trying to analyse during watching 👀
It was a lot of fun despite being completely predictable. Somehow its cast still made it exciting and completely engaging
Wasted my 88 minutes😪 The movie has no Action or Suspense or else unexpected twists. They are keep talking or chasing someone. Lot of loop holes and uncompleted plots. I have seen more Mystery movies and finally found out the worst movie among them. Ending was unbelievable and illogical. My recommendation is do not waste ur 88 minutes🙄
I just saw this movie today (7/30/19) for the first time on my roku. I honestly thought it was a good movie. Not perfect but I felt edge of my seat tension which I don't often feel for most movies. Some plot things seemed off, but I greatly enjoyed the movie.
Not bad or good, 88 Minutes does involve some chilling moments, but doesn't do a lot to keep it going. But overall, Al Pacino was the only reason why I sat through it.
The critics skewered this movie as one of the worst of 2008. This is why I don't read the critics or solicit opinions before seeing movies. Pacino is not his best, and his hair is a raccoon's nest atop his head, but his performance is good enough considering the script and the performances of the other cast members. You can't have Shakespearean acting from only one person and have it be believable. The story itself is convoluted and unlikely, but it plays fair - the clues are all there before the big reveal. It isn't best movie material, but it isn't as horrible as it is universally panned to be.
As far as psychological thrillers go, 88 Minutes isn't the best ever made, but it does provide a few nail-bitting moments and an intriguing enough story. Everyone hates this flick, and I can see why, it isn't flawless for sure, but a very good performance by the great Al Pacino always helps. It happens to every great actor to make a shitty movie, but this one isn't so shitty. If you're curious enough, check it out.
