One of the most gloriously random animated comedies of all time, with hilariously rapid-fire gags erupting all over the place while maintaining a surprisingly strong theme of community.

Horse, Cowboy and Indian live on one hill. Horse is the brains of the household, Cowboy and Indian the adolescent creators of chaos. Steve, his wife, his cows and his precious tractor live on the other hill and Steve is permanently pissed off. Whether you ring his doorbell or touch his studio, I mean tractor, you're gonna get yelled at. Imagine all of this as a French stop-frame animation using little plastic toys that live in a town called Panic! In a nutshell It is Horse's birthday. Cowboy and Indian decide to build him a "braai". (I kid you not.) For this purpose they need fifty bricks, but as fate would have it, they accidentally order fifty million bricks! On horse's account! The bigger problem is not how to hide the bill for fifty million bricks from Horse, but the actual fifty million bricks! Mood of the film Panicky! Raucous! Over the top. Best performance Cowboy wins the Oscar. He carries a gun and lasso, wears cowboy hat and boots, but he still screeches like a banshee at the mere sight of trouble. (Or dons flip-flops, shorts and a Hawaiian-style shirt and books a flight to Miami!) Stand-out scene The whole film is one crazy, over-the-top scene after the other. In fact, the scenes follow one another so fast, I had to pause and rewind a few. One I watched three times is Horse coming home late at night. He drives "through" the new braai. The centre strip of the car, including the engine, gets stuck behind the braai. The two sides of the car end up in front of the braai. Horse goes straight over it. It is funnier when you watch it, I promise. Negatives? I love any type of animation. The Triplets of Belleville is one of my favourite films ever. Even though it is French, it does not need one subtitle, because there is no spoken dialogue in the film. Animation is not everybody's cup of tea. Is the film relevant today? Brilliance such as A Town called Panic is sorely needed in an ocean of mediocre film. If we all strive towards brilliance in life we'd live in an awesome society. The film is also a good laugh!

It isn't much in the way of character development or themes, but A Town Called Panic's charming animation style, brisk pacing, and amazing sense of humor make it a joy to watch from start to finish. It is bizarre and strange, but if you are willing to give into its strangeness, it'll be hard to wipe the smile off your face. If you're looking for something different, definitely check it out.

Be ready for quite the ride in this small French stop-animation comedy about three friends -- an Indian, a horse and a cowboy living together and trying to live their strange, manic lives! Just as inthe movie UP, Panique au Village is a lot more entertaining than its simple premise would lead you believe and definitely worth the watch if you want something a tad different in presentation and plot. Quite bizarre with a long meandering story about not much. But the animation was pretty cool! I think this was more for kids?

This very bizarre stop-motion film has an undeniable charm, combining odd humor and striking visuals. It's a good watch for all ages and I definitely recommend it.

An animation with All the toy of a little boy... Main characters..a horse, an Indian a cowboy..what else..farm animals and the classic postman, farmer and scuba diver ..it is an absurd animation..everything is frantic and the animation on the characters is like the one of a kid who plays with toys around.. Very amusing and very well executed

Funny and creative for about 30 minutes, then it got to boring to watch. Still, quite unique and enjoyable as it is a French Claymation flick. A good neflix watch.

This movie is just so crazy! but not in a so bad it's good way, but in a "wow this is good and crazy!" way!

One of the most absolute original movies I have ever seen in my life. It's an incredibly weird stop motion film with plastic miniature toys, yet brilliantly unique with its fast, zany, random, and outlandish sense of humor. It's all over the place, and it's very unpredictable. All I can say, it's an enjoyable out-of-control ride with fast, quirky, cartoonish dialogue and the most strangest of fictionalized worlds. I actually liked it!

This film is proof that being energetic, absurd and clever, at least in the way it presents its story, is really more important than consistent laughs, which is the film's biggest problem. But you don't really notice it that much considering the film is very fast paced and it doesn't really let you think about anything before throwing the next gag at you. The funniest of which, to me, would have to be the scientists that all they do every day is throw giant snowballs at people and animals from their gigantic robot penguin. The absurdity of this idea, I mean these scientists could be doing something productive, but they just choose to spend their days throwing giant snowballs at people and animals. I just found this idea absolutely hilarious. The way the story of the film works out is that they'll do whatever it takes to move the story forward, even if it means doing something that wouldn't even make sense in other movies. This film makes up its rules as it goes along and that's really part of the fun since you're not really sure what's gonna happen next and that's always a good thing. Really this film comes across as something a group of friends, even if this was based off a 온라인카지노추천 series, smoked some GOOD weed and came up with the most random shit you could do and this is the final product. As mentioned, the film isn't really as funny as it thinks it is, but it's still pretty damn funny and entertaining. I think the style was also pretty unique, even if this is a post-Robot Chicken film. I think the French are more willing to experiment with new animation styles than almost any other country I've seen. Anyway, this is a massively entertaining flick and I'm sure this is the type of "kids" movie that adults will enjoy more than the kids, so I definitely recommend this crazy, and trust me when I say that that is an understatement, film.
