Was almost exact remake to the animated, but I do like the animation better

The best Disney live action remake. Guy Ritchie really nailed this movie. Some of the acting could have been a little bit better.

One of the best live action remakes I've ever seen

Funny, fast-paced, and magical. Does justice to the cartoon version. The actors do a great job keeping the movie lighthearted while still having moral underpinnings, as would be expected from a Disney film.

Very much exceeded my expectations. Will Smith and Naomi Scott were fantastic — damn can she sing. I actually really liked Mena Massoud as the titular character. The songs, which are tough to top, still did it for me. But a movie like Aladdin needs a good villain and this is where it fell short. Jafar wasn't nearly as menacing or imposing as he was in the original — which may have been impossible given the movie is live-action. Overall, a very fun movie worth experiencing in theaters.

Stale, restricted, and vibrantly messy, Disney's newest live-action remake failed to justify its existence. If I'm going to have my kids watch Aladdin, I'll just put on the original animated movie. Nostalgic dance numbers and genuinely good performances from Will Smith and Naomi Scott couldn't save this film for me.

nothing beats the original, and I had an issue with some of the lyric changes questionable for kids ("I hear your princess is HOT??") but my kid loved the movie!

Great costumes, acting, & music!

I'm a skeptic of these live animation Disney movies since I grew up with the originals. Although I did not like will Smith as the genie since you can't top Robin Williams but the movie was definitely better than I was exepecting. I didn't intend to see this movie but I had 8 kids and this is what they chose. They really enjoyed it.
