Allied Reviews
Pitt playing a québécois, faking a parisien. Who doesn't speak English 😵💫 Too far out. And on top, a lot of killings. No thank you
The intrigue was there for a good wartime love story . .
You know a movie is amazing when it pulls at your heart stings and has you balling your eyes out in the end.
Romance, war, and a conspiracy. An underrated watch.
Beautiful well done movie
Second watch. A bit predictable, but good nonetheless. Brad Pitt is a good watch.
Whilst it could be seen as a Hollywood sentimentality project, it is warm, sincere, and beautiful. The story is solid, and the performances are strong
"Allied" is a gripping World War II thriller directed by Robert Zemeckis, starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. The film follows intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt) and French Resistance fighter Marianne Beauséjour (Cotillard) as they fall in love during a dangerous mission in Casablanca. Their relationship is put to the ultimate test when Max is tasked with investigating whether Marianne is a German spy. The film is visually stunning, with impressive period detail and thrilling action sequences. Pitt and Cotillard deliver compelling performances, capturing the emotional complexity of their characters' tumultuous romance. While the Pacing may lag in parts, "Allied" is a suspenseful and captivating film that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end.
I thought the movie was great. Great cast and Marian is captivating! Great WWII story, costumes, and settings. A very watchable movie!
I don't get rotten tomatoes score sometimes how do they give this movie such low score ? It deserves atleast between 7 to 8 I loved it
The start seemed promising yet the movie lacked depths and the characters were not at all developed. Sad waste
I liked this movie, but I think Marion brought more character to the screen than Pitt did. But maybe, thats how it was supposed to be.
Marion and Brad are both great in this WW2 romance. Needless to say , the ending is devastating.
Love this movie. Leaves you hanging and wondering and crying.
One of Best Pitt's performances.
There's quite a few movies similar to this one but it's definitely not the best. About an hour in when the plot fully developed I had very high hopes then let down. I'd never want to watch it again.
The movie is a successful meld of Zemeckis' broad Hollywood filmmaking and Knight's bare bones screenplay. The ending is a little obvious, but still emotionally effective.
fair. brad pitt never convincing. marion great
Not as good as Mr. & Mrs. Smith :)
A very good cast and delivery, started out strong however it seemed to deviate then come back
