Thrilling, captivating, gripping. Great cast that excels in character. Top class cinematography. Masterpiece, highly recommended

Alone started out brilliantly, but some parts of the movie are SO DUMB it completely ruined it. It could have been perfect, it could have been AMAZING. Instead, it's just an above average film worth watching if you can't find anything else.

This script is elementary, one she leaves without telling anyone, then she is a single petite woman only driving in back roads, then itthe 21st century, but she is driving 1800’s car, then she gets out at a rest area at night by herself, then perceives to drive back roads again knowing she is being followed, just refuses to take the freeway which is faster to her destination and safer, cars breaks down and she gets out In complete darkness, knowing a man is possibly stalking her, she magically pulls a nail out of wood, then escapes, he just happens to know which direction she went in, she get shot, survives, gets a root in her foot, and now her foot looks like it’s been shot, she then meets a man, he gets kill, she get in his car out of all places, tries to make a phone call, and out of all people calls his wife, omg, then gets in fight with a 200lb plus guy and kills him at the end, and happy ever after, mannnnn if this isn’t the definition of a elementary script great actors, great film production, and editing, but horrible script writing, to basic for today’s environment, it could have been way better, only thing save this movie were the actors, production & editing

very good, tight, well-acted psychological thriller. I don't think ppl who gave it a bad review realize why it's so good. they overthink it.

I just don't understand critics who liked this. The movie starts well but as soon as the bad protagonist enters the scene it is cliché after cliché we've seen so many times. So predictable.

An amazing performance by Jules Wilcox. A great psychological thriller. The ending is amazing. Tim Treakle

Is it just me, or was “Don’t Move” directed by Adam Schindler/Brian Netto and written by TJ Cimfel/ David White, inspired by this movie? I find them super similar in the middle sequences. The choices both of the main protagonists make in the movies are more smart, but they occasionally make bad ones. The jumping in the river scene, the antagonists catching up to the protagonists and who’s helping them, then saying the protagonist is having a psychotic episode, (don’t move was husband, alone is sister), the person who’s helping being killed, and more. Besides that, this movie just wasn’t too great. Super basic, major plot holes, and it’s nothing special!

Don't listen to any of these clowns and their negative reviews- it's a really enjoyable movie. Well acted, great tension, great pacing. It echoes the theme of other movies before it so it's not groundbreaking but it's original for the format that it is and it's edgy and gripping. I loved the movie. I'm a collector and it would be an easy addition to my collection.

It's a failed attempt at being a slasher type film with the protagonist actually making "reasonable" decisions throughout. At times, the protagonist does make reasonable decisions. More often than not, you will be shouting at the screen over the absurd choices she makes throughout, especially in key moments. Additionally, it seemed to need to draw out the run time by having scenes take place for far longer than is necessary to communicate what is being said. There's no major artistic reason or impressive performance behind it, instead it's a person talking for far too long over and over again. It keeps you interested enough to keep watching with how the premise plays out, but consistently fails to actually do anything actually interesting.

Once again i am in disbelief how a movie which is average at best managed to receive such a good score. the acting from the main antagonist is decent , however the film has blaring plot holes and relies on poor writing to continue the story. Numerous decisions made by the character are unbelievably stupid . There were many moments where i felt that the behaviour and decisions made by characters was flimsy and unrealistic, however i felt the main let down was the countless plot holes such as the tyre on her U-haul only bursting once she was conveniently isolated in the forest despite being slashed completely with a knife. The fact that the kidnapper left the keys in the key hole and the door had a gap large enough beneath it for the main character to place a rag beneath to drag the key from underneath the door towards her. How the girl manages to run into the man multiple times while in a forest is completely implausible unless the forest is the size of a football field. Every prevalent event in the film is accompanied by some sort of inconsistency or majorly unrealistic aspect . The suspense and thrill of the film would be incredible if you were able to suspend any common sense or expectations of human behaviour.

Very scary. Convincing acting. Realistic. Great scenery. Keeps you glued to the screen with constant twists and turns.

Lazy writing. When you have to rely on the main character to do the stupidest things to move the story along, that’s a pure sign of lazy writing.

I'm a old man i like it i want to be on the show

I wouldn't call it particularly deep, original or creative and the last fight scene, though decent, is something of a stretch. That aside however, it's no nonsense delivery is appreciated, while some of the Menchaca scenes are downright special. 3.25/5
