This action thriller heist rarely slowed down, but guess it counts driving 20mph for major surgery to take place in the back of the ambulance. Fun watching Jake play a bad guy.

Speed on an ambulance. Story makes no sense. No idea why Jake Gyllenhaal is in this movie (besides to make a lot of money).

Sakto lang. Para kang nanuod ng Bad Boys II or ng Transformers. Kopyang kopya ang mga chase scenes pati mga eksenang may explosives. Pero dahil sa galing na pag ganap ng mga bida, satisfied naman ako sa napanuod ko.

I was at the edge of my seat. one thing about michael bay , he will deliver with the adrenalin but i had expected danny to survive and end up in prison and while in prison plan another heist inside prison as the mastermind of course.

best action movie of the past few years

Michael Bay’s finest heap of hot garbage comes in the form of an ambulance. The movie is a perpetual car chase scene where two brothers are running from police, and are at odds with one another. The film itself portrays these two brothers inconsistently throughout the movie by having them have morals and values, only to ignore them when convenient (or even inconvenient) or when it will “look really cool”. The movie tries to take itself really seriously, but some moments seem to be made to force laughter out of the audience, even though none of the jokes are exactly funny. And, in one scene, the protagonists are finally at their end with the police ready to catch them and bring them down, making it nearly impossible for them to win now, but a literal dog stops the entire police force from catching and arresting these people. The camera angles are absolutely insane in that it feels like a cinematographer came in and Michael Bay edited all the angles and beauties of it to make it look like absolute dog water with unnecessarily close close-ups that are CONSTANTLY being used throughout the film. No part of this film felt actually great or actually fun to watch, it just felt like a slug the whole way through with Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II trying their best to make it better. Some moments were laughably bad and I cannot say I liked this film much at all.

67/100 - the main characters have good synergy and stage presence together. their reparte is really funny. the plot... weak. interesting ending but they ruin it with the laughable performance thats meant to be serious.

Only just 45 mins in at the moment. Nice storyline and loads of 'action' including people firing machine weapons all the over the place but few people getting killed? It's very silly. One of those movies where you accept it for what it is I suppose? The reason I came on this this point is these guys have robbed $32 million in cash. They are running about in a shoot up with police and have big bags on their backs supposedly with a couple of million in cash in each bag. Do you know how heavy that bag would be? It's so obvious that these are just poor empty film props flopping about as they run. It was ridiculous. Why didn't they chuck a few telephone directories in to make it look like they were carrying something? Officer down ... Since when did the police and ambulance use the same frequencies? And then in the ambulance when robbers escape and are stopped by the police, just where in the back of an ambulance does a robber conceal himself. 🤣. Maybe it's a comedy? Robber sprayed with a dry power fire extinguisher, covered head to foot in white powder a couple of scenes later, still in police chase, is totally clean. Oh my. This is just stupid. I haven't even mentioned the FBI guy leading the chase turns up on the scene ina Fiat 500 with a huge dog on the front seat. Car chase with ambulance getting away from dozens of police cars and choppers. 🙄. still watching but looked at the Guardian review. 2 stars. and not great. To be honest this is so bad don't know if I'll bother to watch any more. And i don't trust Rotten Tomatoes reviews any more. They gave it 60%+. Second in a row where they've scored a bad movie high.

Possibly the worse Michael Bay movie that you will ever see with a run time that goes on way too long and has an ending that you can predict a mile away.

There are some aspects of this film that are typical Michael Bay problems. There is too much going on in this film. The camera can't stop moving and things become disorienting. The movie does go a little too long. But there are some things that Bay does better in this film than any other. Unlike so many others, I actually get to know the characters in the movie. I found it refreshing to understand character motivations and know who's who. I didn't root for the characters I was supposed to root for, but at the very least I got to know these characters. An unusual problem for Bay, but the action in this film is not very good. The camera moves around so quick, and it cuts from one shot to another in such close succession there is no time to figure out what's going on. Most of the movie is a big car chase, but we are given no frame of reference of how close vehicles are to each other, or how the driver is supposed to be alluding capture. The movie has an interesting premise, with interesting characters. It could make a tight thriller. But the movie is just overstuffed with pointless plot threads and too many characters. Perhaps if this script were to see a doctor, it might be saved.

This movie doens't work all the time, but when it works, MY GOD, IT ABSOLUTELY WORKS MORE THAN IT HAS ANY RIGHT TO!

Forget the script, this his Hollywood after all, but sit back, preferably with some sort of alcoholic drink and enjoy. The action is non stop and I mean non stop, the story is insane but the cast are so much more than the film deserves and this is what makes it such a good fun demented insane action flick. Highly recommended.

What a load of crock.

I love Jake … I do. And I enjoyed him in this movie, and I enjoyed the movie to a certain extent but the ambulance chase just went on too long.

Actors are ok but the storyline is simply not good / lacking logic. I could say it does not matter for an action movie, but well it is not only about stunts and exloding cars. This is no good action movie - sorry to say.
