American Pie 2 Reviews
Not far off the first one really. Both very nostalgic, fun light hearted movies that give you a smile on your face by the end and makes you miss the days when parties didnt have a mobiel phone in sight
A worthwhile sequel that stays true to the original while adding its own levels of humor and comedy. This time, there is more room for character growth, which, fortunately, adds the the film.
Another awesome 90's move that has withstood the test of time. Was brilliant when it was released and is still brilliant today. Awesome casting, acting and story. The original will always be the best but this sequel isn't far off. Great fun.
Just as great as the original! Excellent soundtrack!
What happened did they wake up and told one another we should make a better sequel because they did and killed it These Guys literally made me laugh the whole entire time like wow 5 star this is legendary and best movie ever
All time classic a great follow up maybe even better the first. Goes in the pantheon of lad party hype movies so relatable yet hits all the main dilemmas you face at that age and the emotinal struggles That go with it! Just makes you wanna tent out a beach house with your mates
I mean what the heck! The movie is a classic and great for what it is. I think its even better than the first one with genuine lol moments.
Fine comedy sequel, liked it almost as much as the first, although the first had more laugh out loud moments.
This film has a great plot line involving Jim and Michelle, the highlight of this film as well as a catalyst for some really funny scenes. As well as those two characters, Finch and Stifler steal the show with their rivalry and are always a funny presence on screen. Oz and Kevin are just fine, less of a plot for them this time round. If you're looking for some lighthearted fun as well as maybe a bit of nostalgia watch this movie.

I think American Pie 2 gets some unfair treatment in the reviews. Whilst it is definitely a film that often struggles to really justify why it exists - the storylines are fun and engaging. It does a really good job of articulating the strange transition it is to go from school to college/university. Jim & Michelle's story very much steals the show. Kevin's story is possibly the most irritating of the film. The Oz/Heather storyline is a little bland, but also an important aspect. Whilst the continuation of Finch/Stiffler's rivalry really helps to give it momentum.
Best of the American Pie movies! Hilarious!
The boys came back for summer vacation and it's another epic time! This is a great sequel
The sequel is fuego. Sit down with your buddies and let the good times roll.
Not nearly as epic as Epic Movie but still kinda epic like the first one.
LOL, better unrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ages 18 and older!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not as funny or original/edgy as the one before but still produced quite a good amount of laughs and fun moments.
It's actually ok and probably the best of the numerous sequels but I feel like this actually could've been better than the first in a way. It feels like there is more substance here and more character development than the first which relies more on gags and sex humor (which this still has) but toned down a lot more here and has more maturity to it. The acting is like the first one the strong point throughout with everyone actually being above average performances with charm and a couple of jokes I got good laughs out of. However the main problem that dogs this throughout is the characters outside of Jim are one dimensional and don't give strong enough performances to get more invested beyond the one dimensions. The cinematography is ok with basic camera work and forgettable locations/sets. The music is actually not that bad but very dated with a punk rock sound that fits the tone of the film actually kind of well. The editing is ok as we jump between characters ok enough but every once in a while there are parts that drag or don't contribute much (The gags with Jim like the trombone and Glue are good examples). Furthermore it feels like this wants to be a more serious grounded kind of film at times but than resorts back to the gross out humor of the first one because it is more obligatory than needed. The pacing is ok enough also as the jokes did get a laugh half the time and it never felt like it dragged terribly just here and there. Overall this did a good job of being a sequel and developing characters even further and not just trying to recapture the magic of the first. There really isn't anything broken in this at all its just nothing is phenomenal. While the first is still better this is ok overall and anyone who likes any of the actors in this or really liked the first would give this a watch. Outside of that I'd say it can be skipped.
Nothing like the original but still has funny moments
Everything and everybody are a part in part 2. It's funny as hell but not the same chemistry as the 1st.
