An Education Reviews
Perfect for a sunday nap.
This is a great educational movie. check our website to see our edcational services: https://filinko.ir/
This is absolute garbage, stupid, crude, pointless and dumb. I am not often motivated to write a review but this film moved me. It is so primitive and silly that you kind of keep waiting for the real story to begin. Characters are crude and the story is grotesquely primitive and even at that it does not make sense. It is full of caricatures with no self-awareness. You just feel dumber for watching it. I wish I could unsee this garbage.
Outstanding performance by Carey Mulligan.
Heartwarming, then disturbing. An excellent exploration of a young girls desires, love, manipulation, and loss of ones self in the face of all this. Carey Mulligan is brilliant, along with the rest of the cast. I didn't know what to feel by the end of it. There's no sugarcoating or dramatising, which is why it works so well.
An Education features an exceptionally talented cast, a realistically disturbing premise, and a well-delivered storyline. Carey Mulligan delivers a breakthrough performance while Rosamund Pike is characteristically transcending in her supporting role. I would absolutely watch this again.
"An Education" is a great film to watch. There is not a single dull moment or scene throughout. However, the plot is quite predictable and the dialogue is enticing. Unfortunately, the ending feels cliché.
A lovely, sensitive, coming of age film. Beautifully played by a young Carey Mulligan with a strong supporting cast. Full marks all round!
Really enjoyed this rare thing, a decent British film. It was turning into a real standout until the final fifteen minutes when unfortunately the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed a bit too cleanly. Bought this one on DVD for £1 and it is a decent one to have in the collection.
While the relationship between Jenny and David might make viewers uncomfortable, Carey Mulligan's electrifying performance adds maturity to her character on her journey into adulthood, which is well worth watching as the movie progresses. An Education is an intriguing character study that often feels real but can be tedious and uninteresting with the mundane events of a small English family in the 60s.
Mulligan shines in this well scripted and sharp drama about the naivety of youth.
Um show de figurino, atuação e enredo. Nos leva a pensar a forma como enxergamos a vida na adolescência, de maneira efêmera, apaixonada, em contraste com a monotonia instrinseca a vida que fatalmente nos acomete a indiferença.
A really touching and slightly morally complex romantic drama featuring a bevy of strong performers.
The best acting performance from Carey Mulligan!

The movie bring back from the dead some old stereotypes about the Jews. David (how exactly does it add to the story line) is a Jew. As such he looks like all of us, but under the hood he swindle old ladies for the money and young girls for their virginity. All men of all origines are guilty of these crimes, yet in England, Jews are probably more likely to be involved with it than others, aren't they? Other than that it is a well done movie even if it doesn't go deep into anybody's real feeling about anything.
An Education is a surprisingly balanced film, never feeling as if it's reaching for some thematic goal out of reach but instead developing a simple, sincere coming of age narrative from a feminine perspective. Mulligan's Jenny is ambitious, intelligent, and eager but woefully inexperienced - each features that drive her attraction to Sarsgaard's David, who is spontaneous, clever, and cultured but not restrained, seemingly the worldly antithesis of her conservative home life. David is gradually revealed to be a manipulator and conman who relies on his affability and a dubious sense of morality to make his way in the world, which momentarily distresses Jenny upon her realization of his 'occupation' but is not enough to dampen her affections for him as she rather naively chooses to romanticize his flaws; as their relationship continues, Jenny gradually comes to believe these delusions, adopting a 'live in the moment' mentality that causes her to lash out at those who live conventional lifestyles and would try to make her do the same, until the extent of David's deceit (and infidelity) is revealed. The characters are believable, the production value is great, and the story resonates with its empathetic character development and organic growth, though the surprisingly painless and quickly rectified conclusion takes away some of the gravity of Jenny's actions. Mulligan delivers a great visualization of Barber's novel, and pairs well with Scherfig's tight direction. (3.5/5)
Propelled by Mulligan's great performance. Not much else of the film excites per se, but it is a worthwhile reflection of the over-eagerness and poor judgement of the young taken to extreme lengths.
Carey Mulligan has always been so talented, hard to believe this was her first film. Great story, and wonderful performances.
