Classic. Will Ferrell in his prime. Absolute perfection as a comedy movie imo.

Will Ferrell is the best comedian/actor in this era.

This is just a classic comedy movie with almost no issues and so many iconic scene. If you haven't seen this movie i promise you that you would recognize so many of the scenes in this movie. The cast is almost perfect and takes this movie to a hole another level. If you even remotely like comedy movies watch this one.

It's not obviously Ferrell's best, but to list Anchorman as one of the possibilities should tell you how good it is -- from a Will Ferrell standpoint, anyway. First, it should tell you that this one rises above a plethora of Ferrell's other silly screaming-above-the-noise characters. At the same time, it tells me that Ferrell, as loud and crass and unequivocally insane as he is on screen, still has a ceiling. And it's not really all that high.

The singled funniest movie I have ever seen. If I am in a dire straits with only hours to live, put this movie in front of me and put the subtitles on so I can recite those classic jokes along with the movie.

An absolutely classic Will Ferrell comedy.

I'm an enjoyer of many cult classic comedies, like Napoleon Dynamite, Hot Rod, and Wayne's World. And this definitely was no different. Great comedic timing, acting, and writing. Every line that came out of this movie is pure gold. And Steve Carell's character is one of the funniest things to come out of this movie. Overall, great comedy movie that deserves a spot on the long list of classic comedies.

Silly and crude, Anchorman is an excellent example of how to do dumb comedy, especially aided by Will Ferrel's shining performance.

It's just okay. Watched it a second time to try to understand all the love for this movie but I never even chuckled. It's mildly amusing.

One of the Top 20 comedies of all time. Our entire family loved this movie...so did our friends. Definitely underrated by "critics"...as usual. Watch this and laugh and laugh.

One of the best comedies of the past 25 years, and some of the best casting in any film in that same period. The chemistry of the cast makes the jokes hit that much better and Will Ferrell is at his very best as the comically arrogant and oblivious Ron Burgundy.

Super Funny! This is probably the most influential movie of the 21st century.

The comedy hits you like the scent of Sex Panther to the nostrils. It brings tears to your eyes. Lots of strong performers find a great balance, and cameos galore. Watch it. Watch it again.

Best movie I have ever watched

Possibly one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is a hilarious parody of American News in the 70s. It is endlessly quotable, has a stacked cast, and everyone has their chance to shine. From the second act until the end there was a massive smile on my face. This film doesn't really have much going on in the plot department, but it doesn't really need one because of how funny and enjoyable it is. This is also the type of movie that couldn't really be made today, and you'll understand why while you watch it, but that just makes me love it so much more. I would recommend this film to older teens or young adults, but I think that people who were around in the period this takes place in could get a kick out of it as well.

It was very funny at times. I particularly enjoyed Steve Carell's performance.
