Annabelle Comes Home Reviews
It was really fun to watch and was really scary, but there were some times where I was just uninterested with it. I definitely recommend it for horror fans!
So far, all of the Conjuring films have been respectable, no major misses. Another good film with Annabelle stealing the show. No real issues with the plot, just questioned some character choices but that's prolly just a horror movie thing. Not bad!
Annabelle Comes Home offers a satisfyingly terrifying playtime for fans of the Annabelle franchise, Conjuring movies, and the horror genre in general. Instead of focusing solely on a compelling story, the film cleverly uses The Warren’s home, filled with cursed and haunted ornaments, as its backdrop. While it doesn’t rely heavily on jump scares and cliches, it effectively creates a sense of dread and unease throughout the movie. Grading: C+
'Annabelle Comes Home' is snooze central. It asks the question: What would happen if Lorraine & Ed Warren's artifacts room turned into 'Night at the Museum'. The answer? Boredom. We oddly end up largely following a babysitter's friend (yes, really). Aside from one or two moments at the very end, I don't even remember anything interesting happening in this - needless to say, the 106 minute run time dragged real hard. We get Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson in this side of the franchise at last, though so brief it's barely worth it. Mckenna Grace, Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife are the main character in this and they themselves are alright, I didn't find any watchability in the people they were portraying but I have nothing against the trio. They star in what isn't this franchise's worst, but it sure is close to being so.
This movie is just silly. It's not that scary, and it's like people are not even trying to survive. I don't think it's the worst movie, it definitely gave me a few jump scares, but it's not on my movie night watchlist.
This was an under the radar type movie, that is simple yet entertaining. Surprisingly it holds its own as a standalone spinoff of a popular franchise.
In comparison to most of the conjuring universe films this is my least favourite.. Didn’t acknowledge the ‘audience intelligence’, it in fact insulted it by making us scream and shout at the lady who plays ‘Daniela’, because it’s not remotely realistic. No teenager would go in a haunted room BY THEMSELF. It was not a horror, rather, an infuriating watch about adolescent idiotic behaviour - I suppose it’s the horror of life, not paranormal. I don’t think that was what they were meant to achieve though?
Si esta de miedo aunque no es mi favorita
Not my favorite annabelle movie but still good
What the heck was this pos?!?!?!
“Possess them all.” The cast was amazing. We love Wilson and Farmiga. McKenna Grace is a gem as always. 5/5 stars.
It's a underrated film unlike it's previous but I like it more than others it's a fun to watch n gripping film bring new additions who should deserve their own films nd spin off 😃♥️🎉😍😃🤩💫👏🥰
This one has a good casting. The actress playing the Warren's daughter is really good. The story is a bit dumb (who in the world would ever enter to the prohibited Warren's room?!), but nicely executed. Not the best horror movie I've ever watched, but it is enjoyable.
Annabelle Comes Home (2019), 3/5 stars rating. The main reason for watching the movie a couple of times was Katie Sarife, her physical features are what attract me the most like her dark hair, white skin, dark eyes, eyebrows, her in her tight jeans. Madison Iseman is more beautiful, she got to play Saori Kido Athena, one of my favorite characters, but I imagine Saori even prettier and she can't be played in reality by real women. The movie is fine during a weekend afternoon in the 70s without today's technology, then it gets boring when the plot resembled Goosebumps (2015) with the demons loose in the house. May Madison Iseman, Katie Sarife, Mckenna Grace, Gary Dauberman and the others have successful careers.
Direção: Ok Atuação: Ok Roteiro: Ok Caracterização: Bom Soundtrack: Ok
Although Annabelle creation is not nearly as frightening or a solid of a story as it predecessors, it still manages to put together a fun story with a few good horror moments.
This is a fun and cozy haunted house movie for teens and adults. I myself have been an independent adult for a couple years now, but reminiscing about the days of being home alone or having a babysitter who creates a fun evening for us, it's a nice feeling. So immediately, the premise of the movie gives you a good feeling if you can relate to this. But it also has a very good emotional storyline with Daniela (Katie Sarife), and she is the catalyst of the movie aside from the title character, Annabelle. Daniela can really get on your nerves if you do not connect to her reasoning, and she could really get on your nerves if you don't see the humour in her actions. As someone who lost someone, I connected. I'd do the same if I was a teenager. But it's also very funny how things transpire due to her literally touching every haunted item in the basement despite all the signs telling her not to, yet it all connects to her reasoning behind it. So it's something the movie gets criticised for, but I think it's one of the stronger points of the movie. Aside from this, it's just a fun, spooky and sort of emotional experience. It hits all the beats that you want from a movie like this, and also captures the time it's set in perfectly. Which in my opinion is another factor to the whole atmosphere of the movie. This is one of my longer reviews, and for a movie that isn't a classic in any regards, it's just a demonstration for how likeable this movie is. It's a go to, for me. It's also a creative dream. The world was their oyster, and they pulled of a good movie. Thank you!!
É legal mais não chega perto do segundo fime
Annabelle Comes Home offers more humor in addition to the supernatural terror the Conjuring franchise is known for.
