A great space film. Ron Howard is a great director. Tom Hanks is an awesome actor. The movie was about one of the NASA missions after the first moon landing. The zero gravity scene was cool.

Even though you know the ending because it's based on a true story, it's so well crafted and it has so many great roles and great actors it's still such a pleasure to watch. This is really a Dream Team cast and extremely well directed. A must see for space adventure fans and everybody else.

I've seen this movie a couple of times and each time I thoroughly enjoy it. It is so captivating and well done. Every time I watch it I am on the edge of my seat. The cast and director do such a great job in making this moment in history really accessible to the viewer. You never really feel like you lack the knowledge to know what's happening even though the subject matter is quite complex. This is the gold standard for how a history related movie should be made. So, so good.

Ron Howard is not a director I would go to expecting flair or challenging ways of telling a story, but here he's the ideal man to tell this story, of which we all know the ending. That he does so with clarity and efficiency, making it accessible enough for all of us who don't understand much science and injecting genuine tension, awe, and joy is one of his great achievements as a director. Tom Hanks, and the rest of the cast, are excellent; but what was especially refreshing on this revisit is that it almost entirely eschews a flag-waving American pride with which I associated this film in my false memories. This is a story about people being part of something extraordinary, not an exercise in national myth-making. It's a moving, exciting, well-told story that's as accessible as it is enjoyable.

Apollo 13 maintains a steady and well-crafted narrative, showcasing a highly polished execution. It serves as a precise cinematic recreation of that unfortunate yet fortunate space disaster.

Such a good movie to this day. The elements of space are incredible, Tom Hanks is incredible, and all the dialogue and details were really good. The great storytelling from both Earth and space make the movie just so smooth with how it runs and is just a great movie.

Probably in my top 25 best movies ever made. Just everything about it is good. Historical accuracy, pacing, acting, production value and special effects. It’s awesome and makes the most out of a story that doesn’t exactly have the sweetest ending.

Heroes! Great movie though the button pushing goes on for a while

Absolutely amazing film. I have come to appreciate it more the older I get and the more I watch it. The fidelity to the true story is incredible. In an age where directors feel comfortable rewriting history to fit their artistic vision, this movie takes a truly dramatic event and brings the audience into the story without excessive exaggerating. And the score, sound, and video are incredible.

I like it expect it is made strictly for a specific audience, I don't think kids would like this.

Slow burning movie that shows the almost disastrous "Apollo 13". The acting is descend and the plot is straight forward. Not many ""wow" moments and a general lack of excitement .Not great not bad.
