Heard this inspired A Minecraft Movie and so I gave it a watch. Let me just say this one's way better

With the horror of the first two including some comedy in the second, Army of Darkness leans completely into the silly side of Ash. With the tone shift, a setting shift into the medieval ages feels equally as intriguing. More of an action comedy with creepy setpieces then a horror film, there is alot of laughs and fun to come with it. Still, some may miss the horror of the first two.

Out of the Evil Dead franchise this is the only movie that's not oversaturated with blood, gore, & sex. There are some scarish moments in the film. Like when Ash's fighting the monster in the pit. And when Good Ash has to fight Bad Ash. And the battle scene where Ash & King Arthur's men are fighting the deadites. But out of the three movies in the Evil Dead trilogy this one is more comical than the other two. Like when Ash is fighting his mini me's. And the part where Ash has to get the necronomicon. And there are three books. And Ash has to figure out which one is the right one. A lot of the movie is an homage to Ray Harryhausen. Who was One of the best special effects creators Animation & stop motion animation. The other two Evil Dead movies were definitely cult classics. And two of the best horror movies of all time. But this movie you could actually watch with tweens. This movie is not dated. And definitely still holds up today.

Another favorite from back in the day. I remember watching this movie with a bunch of friends. It was a great midnight 🍕 and oregano movie. Everytime I rewatch this movie it takes me back to easy days of my youth.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é ruim, o filme não tem terror, o ash agora é meio fraco, e esse filme destruiu o final do evil dead 2, que ash ti há se tornado o rei dos soldados da idade média por ter matado o vilão, nesse filme colocaram ele de escravo, e de fizeram uma história ruim, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.

Most of the scares are gone, but that hole is filled with plenty of comedy to go around. Granted the humor is kind of hit-or-miss, but fortunately the hits are far greater than the misses. Bruce Campbell is charismatic as ever, albeit kind of dickish during the first act. Though seldom, the action scenes are a lot of fun. Not a masterpiece, but a fun conclusion to the Evil Dead trilogy.

Well I remember watching this movie back when it was on the big screen back in '92. I was a fun and enjoyable movie back then. Definitely worth watching.

Army of Darkness is probably the weakest of the original trilogy. Sure, this movie is still very solid and the comedic elements this time were funnier now but the beginning is completely changed from the ending of Evil Dead II which feels really annoying to me because continuity and that you know Ash just randomly gets any girl for some reason. Speaking of Ash, Bruce Campbell plays a great performance as always Ash. Overall, not my favorite Evil Dead movie but still definitely worth a watch. 6.8/10

Hilarious movie! Can't believe I hadn't watched it sooner.

At this point it feels like a movie made for children however it's not to say that it isn't good. Bruce Campbell is always as witty as ever and amazing uses of practical effects for the skeletons and an ending you won't see coming.

chainsaw man gets a live action remake. 7/10

Army of Darkness is an awesome movie. Bruce Campbell does an excellent job as Ash, the arrogant and hilarious hero armed with his trusty chainsaw and 'boom stick!!!!!!!

The Best one in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy. by combining action, horror and fantasy makes this the best including his "Groovy" line

If you like the original first two Evil Dead movies and/or the Ash vs Evil Dead series, then this should be a treat for you if you missed it somehow. Not having the words Evil Dead in the title may have caused some fans to miss it. But it is basically Evil Dead 3, set in medieval times because why not.
