Avatar Reviews
The second best movie ever made after the way of water💙
The best part of Avatar is undoubtedly its visuals. The film is a marvelously created cinematic experience. The jungles and floating mountainous islands of Pandora serve as breathtaking backdrops and the planet's indigenous population is brought to life with remarkable detail. As for the plot, however, it offers little that’s new—a by-the-numbers story that we've seen before.
Avatar is technically impressive but lacks a compelling storyline.
This movie paved a way to incredible, breathtaking special effects, and they movie itself is great and has held up well for the past 10 years
This is one of the most visually stunning movies I have ever seen. The story was compelling and I was awe-struck at the scenery and design of the world of Pandora. I definitely recommend it!
James Cameron is an amazing world creator. With CGI techniques far beyond its time and a cast that draws you in, you can’t help but get lost in the story. You want to believe Pandora and all of the plants and creatures on it are real, and at times forget they’re not.
I love this movie no matter how many times I watch it always feels new the sensory is great feel like I’m in the movie the director knew what he was doing to grab the audience an allow them to feel like there part of this film awesome job of a movie
My favorite movie of all time!! Saw this for the first time when I was 8, and I haven't turned back. I love that it just transports you to the beautiful world of Pandora. :) Favorite film series It is a breathtaking story with really cool visuals. It is a must see. For you romance lovers, it has a love story in it with Jake and Neyitri. For you action lovers, there's plenty of action to see here, and the plot is amazing. Although that the runtime is long, it's worth it. The scenes are breathtaking.
My new favourite all time film. Everything was perfect. ABSOLUTE CINEMA! I felt like I was in the world of Pandora. The CGI for the time of which Avatar came out blew me away in how realistic it looked graphically. The creatures I found fascinating. And I loved learning about the Na’Vi. Love this film. 💙
Alright, boys, grab a cold one and settle in, ‘cause we’re talking about Avatar. Yeah, that blue-people movie where James Cameron flexed his CGI muscles so hard he might’ve pulled a groin. I finally gave ‘er a rewatch, and let me tell ya, it’s still got some wheels. Right off the puck drop, the visuals are absolute beauty. This ain't no standard beer-league ice; this is a fresh-sheet, NHL-quality surface with not a single rut in sight. Pandora is a full-on spectacle, like when you walk into a brand-new rink and the boards still smell like fresh paint. It’s crisp, it’s clean, and it’s got more color than Don Cherry’s old suits. The story? Look, we’ve all heard the “Dances with Wolves but in space” chirps, and yeah, it’s about as original as a guy calling for a saucer pass on a 2-on-1. But sometimes, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel—just sharpen the skates and play the game right. Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington, who’s about as wooden as my first Sher-Wood stick) jumps into this alien world, learns their ways, and ends up leading the Na’vi against the puck-rabbit corporate goons trying to dig up their ice—I mean, their land. Classic underdog story, and we love an underdog in Canada, eh? Action-wise, this thing is a barn-burner. The final battle is like Game 7 overtime, with choppers, arrows, and big blue warriors laying the body left and right. If you don’t get fired up when Neytiri goes full warrior mode, you’re probably the type of guy who coasts through a shift and calls for a line change after 20 seconds. Now, why only 4/5? Well, it runs a bit long—like a rec league game where the zamboni guy forgot to flood the ice between periods. And some of the dialogue is cheesier than the poutine at the arena canteen. But hey, minor quibbles. At the end of the day, Avatar still snipes top corner and earns its spot on the highlight reel. Would I watch it again? Buddy, it’s got more replay value than an overtime winner—so yeah, toss me a Molson, and let’s fire this bad boy up. --- Deer Hair Pads Review. Follow on Facebook & Instagram
When you watch it for the first time, it is literally "out of this world", when you learn the time and effort put into the production, you realize Cameron is absolutely obsessed with perfection, which produce even more appreciation. Excellent production, great idea and makes sense on many levels. Out of the box thinking indeed. Groundbreaking and captivating, gets better every time you see it again
Beautiful writing !
It's a decent action film with stunning visuals, I'll give it that, but there is not need for it to be almost everyone's favourite film or the most talked about film or something. It's good and that's it. PLEASE LEAVE THIS FILM ALONE ALREADY.
There's a reason it's the highest grossing movie of all time. Sad that I didn't get to see it in theaters when it came out, but still a great movie to watch. It's definitley better than it's sequel.
I should make more movies like this in the world, my all time favorite movie is Love Avatar Movie Makers.
The irony behind a fully computer generated movie expressing the importance of the planet and environment and its connection to inhabitants is quite amusing but powerful. Yes, it cost a lot but the story is a brilliant representation of how we as human will continue to destroy the nature environment to create one that has no end. Visually stunning, incredible sound, and a story that may seem basic forever holds its point. Go outside and enjoy yourself.
It was a very nice movie
A great story. An immersing experience. It's in my top 10 movies of all time. If it's ever playing at an IMAX near you, make sure you see it!
this is one of my favorite movies of all time. if you haven't seen this movie than your don't have a life
Movie was really perfect in everyway. Tons of action and CGI was perfect. Seeing this in 3D is peak entertainment.
