As the film begins to lose much of its momentum and forcefulness, it's nevertheless tough to rob Hopkins of an incredible screen presence.

Nuclear-bomb-in-NYC plot leaves sour aftertaste.

The action fails to cause any excitement, and most of the characters are paper-thin.

Hopkins-Rock action-comedy wastes both talents with an achingly inept script and truly ruinous direction.

Not just a bad film -- it's boring and embarrassing, full of formulaic plot, predictable mugging by Rock, and numerous less-than-fascinating chase scenes.
