Bedtime Stories Reviews
My kids absolutely loved this movie. I enjoyed it too! What is with the Adam Sandler movie hate?
I recently revisited the delightful film "Bedtime Stories," starring Adam Sandler and Keri Russell as parents to two young children. This charming movie follows a series of imaginative and whimsical bedtime stories that come to life in exciting and over-the-top ways. The film's direction showcases a blend of creativity and thrill, taking viewers on a magical journey reminiscent of Disney's storytelling magic. It offers an incredible experience for children, inviting them to immerse themselves in the fantastical bedtime tales filled with excitement and wonder. Adam Sandler and Keri Russell deliver standout performances both individually and as a duo. Their on-screen chemistry as husband and wife adds a special touch to the movie, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Their portrayal of the parents navigating through these enchanting stories brings a sense of joy and warmth to the film.
A comfort movie, one of my favorites. It’s such a nice premise and chemistry between Sandler and kids is great, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve watched this film.
Adam Sandler stars as a hotel maintenance person who tells his niece and nephew bedtime stories that eventually become his reality. This movie has a few laughs and does have a magical feel that younger viewers might enjoy. However, the story seems to go nowhere with too many plot conveniences, predictability and a few scenes that should have been edited out. Adam Sandler doesn’t shine in this film as he has in others, but he does seem to work well with the child actors. I do not think this movie is worth your time.
This is either the best worst movie ever or the worst best movie ever. Either way I love it!
Bedtime Stories' concept is solid, and the plot is charming, but the execution and script are immature and just cringy. There are good moments where the movie works and lands its wild swings at humor, but much of it feels amateur.
Meh they tried to make an family friendly ADAM SANDLER movie and it shows
Bedtime Stories was an amazing movie. I watched it kind of a long time ago, but I remember this movie was amazing. I remember this movie was really funny, and I LOVE funny movies. Also this movie was really interesting and creative, and I love that. But what puzzles me is how this movie got a 25% for critics and a 54% for audience. This movie was not that bad. I have no idea how a hilarious Adam Sandler movie got such bad review. This movie is super underrated and needs better review. What a good movie.
Our kids loved this movie when it came out. And so did we the parents. It's goofy and fun. We use so many of the lines still to this day in our family as jokes.
It's not a great movie, but it's just good enough to pass into the "so bad it's good" category
Lots of fun, funny, heartfelt
I bought this movie on a whim when I seen it at Wal-mart sometime ago. Turned out to be a pretty decent movie. Very funny!
Once upon a time, Meh. The end.
LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 39 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!! starring Adam Sandler in his first family movie!!!!!!!!!!!!
By far the best Adam Sandler movie, extremely nostalgic for anyone born in the early 2000s. Amazing fantasy movie with a good laugh here and there. Loved it
My 6 and 7 year old love this movie... set your expectations accordingly, spoiler alert, its for children. Its a family movie from Disney FOR kids. If your an adult/parent, you probably won't find it to be the greatest movie, but it's not for you. Reading reviews from people who are clearly not writing from the perspective that this movie is for children and how it was "horrible", is hilarious. Get a grip. Reading some of these reviews is like listening to adults talk about how terrible the Power Rangers movies are. Sheesh.
