Love it best ever need 2nd one

Underrated movie. It looks great, feels great and the performances are so much fun.

I'm not sure what these other reviewers were expecting from this film, a classic? A masterpiece of cinema? It's a silly little film paying homage to an old, beloved, niche sitcom. Sure, Kidman's character starts out as a naive, breathless, quirky sidekick, but soon gets into the groove of it all. Not a film to be taken seriously, but definitely a fun little watch, especially years after it was made, and getting to see these well established actors in some early roles that they'd rather forget. Some people need to lighten up lol.

What an adorable Rom Com! It's light and sweet. So easy to get swept up in the Nicole and Will charm.

It's a 2005 romcom that feels like a 2005 romcom - energy is great throughout and if you take it at what it is: a love letter to the series, I think it works well. I may be clouded by nostalgia but watching it nearly 20 years later was still fun. Great for casual weekend viewing, some of these reviews are overthinking it- it's really not that deep.

Uh...is this a show for pedophiles while mocking people with mental disabilities? Nicole Kidman looks mid 20's with a mentality of a 16 year old while Will Ferrel looks early 40's with a mentality of at 12 year old. I know they are the same age in real life but my God how much drugs did you do Will to look like that?! I don't like movies that have adults acting like kids, it's not funny to me...immature humor insults my intelligence and I feel it mocks people with mental disabilities that have mental capacity of those much younger then themselves, sometimes child like. A grown man throwing temper tantrums like a 5 year old just makes me want to smack him when there is nothing wrong with him besides liking to act like a child to get his way. People actually like this sorta thing? I can't wrap my mind around it. I semi watched this on my tv while surfing the internet via dual monitors through my computer. It was painful even as background noise for the duration of 1hr and 40m just so I can review this.
