I gave this movie 2 stars, as I believe there was a story there, and it did keep me mostly interested. However, with the mediocre acting and story development it fell flat. I guess that's why I had never heard of it.

This was such great movie! I stayed on the edge of my sofa!! I will watch this again!!

This was far better than I expected. The story was great, the performances were engaging, and made you a tualky care about the characters involved. Everything was very simple and well done, and had you wondering what was going to happen next.

The science obviously is not sound to say the least. However, the cast was amazing and the story still works well as a sci-fi thriller type. It’s a good flick overall.

I thought this was such a great movie omg. Obviously the science behind it is crazy but the acting and story I thought was so unique. So refreshing to see a new story told I feel like lately im getting told the same 4 stories over and over again. Again - you have to suspend a lot of disbelief believe on the "neurology" parts of it 😂😂 however I think for the story it's worth it. Emotional rollercoaster. The name of the movie seems like a weird decision… but whatever I guess?

The cracking bones really got to me at first; then it was overused. It's not a bad movie but not great either.

A man nearly forgets his child's birthday, and can't tie his tie without her later goes to lunch with an old friend, and literally nothing has changed. Why, if you lost your memory, do you act completely normal with a friend, and yet, like a child with your child? If you're into unexplainable, supernatural, lack of plot films, this is for you. Enjoy.

Black Box ist ein Science-Fiction-Horrorfilm von Regisseur Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour… Nachdem er seine Frau und sein Gedächtnis bei einem Autounfall verloren hat, unterzieht sich ein alleinerziehender Vater einer quälenden experimentellen Behandlung… Ich würde den Film nicht wirklich als eine Horrorgeschichte nennen, eher ein Mystery-Thriller mit Science-Fiction Elementen… Wirklich eine originelle Geschichte mit vielen Wendungen, was ein gutes Drehbuch ausmacht, ein guter Psychothriller… mit konventionell unterstützender Musik… ein spannender Film.

Good movie. The story, acting, twists all work. It has a few new ideas but the production values just weren't high enough to get it to four stars. Still worth your time though.

OK .... THAT WAS SO ...

Worst film of all time! It's not horror and sci fi movie! Warning: Spoilers Man this movie was bad. They didn't even explain the sci fi technology. I was laughing so hard at how bad it was. The title is kind of misleading because most people think of a Black Box as being something in an airplane for accidents information. Something like, "Who Am I?" may have been more appropriate. Anyway. Unworthy watching!

Wouldn’t really call this horror but pretty good. Thought I predicted what will happen but I was wrong definitely worth seeing

Wow what an amazing sci-fi/horror (basically). Super original and done perfectly. It would have been better though if they had Nolan confront the doctor for what she had done to him when he came to, but great movie!

As for the theme of this story it seemed that it would leave a bad aftertaste, but actually I could accept the story. Also some parts surprised and excited me, so I can say this is beyond my expectation :)

Interesting plot shot like a horror movie... what an experience...

Was recommended to me on Amazon, enjoyed it quite a bit, would love to sit down and rewatch with my husband! I was pleasantly surprised to see the actor from Archive 81 in it! He's amazing! I didn't see any of the twists coming, which is a first. Definitely on my recommended list to friends enjoying thrillers without much gore.
