Worst movie of all time!!

they say drinking a coke takes an hour off your life, well this took one and a half hours and now i want to pour bleach into my eyes

Not a film I’d tell anyone to rush and see, pretty standard story with no real heart in it. What’s worse and makes it lose a full star alone is trying to use one of the best slasher films to grab watchers when this could have been called anything else as it has nothing to do with the original.

I enjoyed more watching the 2006 remake. This was on serious mode compared to a more enjoyable one.

This is absolutely the worst horror remake ever made where's the Christmas spirits of the original and what's with the editing it looks sloppy and for the writer's stop reading stuffs on Twitter and for the director you should study more of not remake horror movies and the characters are terrible and very stupid.

Such a bad movie! There are barely any scary parts and the complete plot of the movie was that man are bad.

A good movie before the twist, I can't say I care for the twist in the movie. Yeah it brings a good message and it might've been preformed well for the twist they chose but I think they should've done something else for the twist it was a good message but it could've been different

The 2019 version of Black Christmas is a film that's completely uninterested in telling an engaging story or adding to the legacy of its '74 namesake. Its only purpose is to delivery a message, and when I say deliver, I mean ‘scream it in your face repeatedly for an hour and a half.' I've got nothing against films that have subtext or want to express a opinion, but this movies script feels like it was composed from a collection of the most venomous and simultaneously self-righteous twitter posts. Its feminist perspective is shoved down your throat time and time again, but there's no balance, no discussion, no actual analysis of what is being said. The filmmakers are so opposed to their point of view being challenged that when one character dares to contradict it, they're killed literally minutes later. It's a case of the lead characters being allowed to act however they want, to do and say as they please with no repercussions because the filmmakers believe they're morally right. As a horror film, it's completely devoid of suspense or tension. One of the greatest elements of the original was the mystery surrounding the identity of the killer. But this time round we already know who it is, and a supposed 3rd act twist is so painfully signposted that there's no possible way you can miss it. It looks, feels and plays out like every dime a dozen modern slasher film, and aside from the grating social commentary, there's nothing which makes it stand out. Clearly, the director didn't care about creating a remake that was faithful or cleverly updated, they simply needed a vehicle for their rhetoric, and chose a recognisable franchise in order to deliver it. The result is a boring and lifeless series of inconsequential events that I couldn't care less about, and when it mercifully ended, I was relieved that I was finally free of it.

This movie was bad, but if you're into movies that are so bad they're good, I'd recommend it for the climax.

The worst movie I've ever seen. It has barely anything to do with the original horror classic and shoves it's social commentary down your throat. I have nothing against movies with social commentary. Many of my favorite movies have them. But this film didn't do it well.

Esta tercera película de Black Christmas que tiene un montón de cosas en su contra. De lo positivo solo se puede rescatar el suspenso, la ambientación, la producción y la fotografía. Todo lo demás falla porque se trata de una película diferente que solo toma el título de la película original, algunas referencias y tenga de protagonistas a universitarias como en la película original. Todo lo demás recae en una película feminista con protagonistas muy desagrables que llegan a hacer que uno las termine odiando. Los antagonistas aquí son jóvenes que tienen una muy justa razón para hacer lo que hacen. Eso es un punto a favor de la película, ya que los antagonistas dicen cosas sobre las mujeres que son ciertas y que justifican muy bien porque el feminismo es algo realmente venenoso. El principal objetivo del film es plantear la violencia contra la mujer, pero lo hace de una manera muy poco creíble, al punto que uno se pone del lado de los antagonistas. Otra de las grandes fallas de esta película es estar orientada a los menores de 13 años porque eso no se puede hacer en un slasher. Las escenas de muerte y la violencia se sienten muy censuradas, lo cual hacen que esta película falle como slasher. Esta tercera entrega de Black Christmas es sin duda la peor de la saga, uno de los peores reinicios y una de las peores películas feministas en la historia. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 4/10.

This is pretty forgettable and unoriginal. I've gone off Blumhouse films, there are too many average or bad ones. This one is well acted, looks beautiful, sounds amazing but that will only carry it so far. The first half of the film is a dull and very typical slasher with a convincing eighties style. The second half is a slasher with a slight twist which I won't ruin. It's not gory. It's not really like the original except for the setting and slasher vibes. The action is not engaging. Not terrible but also not good, simple average and forgettable.

The only reason I didn't give this movie a one star is because I saw it with some good friends that made this terrible movie slightly better.
