Bloodshot Reviews
There are some things that sadly let down Bloodshot but there is more than enough to make this the perfect film to sat down and watch when you just don’t want to think.

…arrives on the big screen looking distinctly like a re-heated dinner…

Bloodshot is even worse than I expected. The messy, formulaic, logically questionable screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer is the worst aspect of the movie, but the action is undoubtedly the most disappointing one.

Not much to talk about, and the film undoes itself anyhow. [Full review in Spanish]

Manages to entertain despite its extensive running time... [Full review in Spanish]

...If you like Vin Diesel, near-future sci-fi, action, easy to-follow plots, then you will enjoy Bloodshot.

Bloodshot is as common an action-adventure film as O+.

It trips over itself too often and outside of one good reveal the script hasn't much new to offer. But I’m not going to lie, I had a good time with it. It’s intermittently clever, some of the action is cool, and I enjoyed most of the performances.

For pop-culture fans, this is dumb fun, even if it does make 109 minutes outstay their welcome longer than a 12-part Netflix series.

Whether or not Bloodshot will open the doors to a new Valiant cinematic universe is another story.

...a familiar premise that's employed to mostly watchable yet undeniably erratic effect...

Bloodshot is a very silly film that's redeemed by knowing exactly how silly it is.

Perhaps watching it on streaming is the best way, allowing you to shut 'Bloodshot' off whenever you've had your fill of it.

Never trying to break free from the comic book action movies of old, Bloodshot is a throwback to the time where the best versions of familiar tropes laid atop a remixed story make for a blast of a night at the movies.

Yet another attempt to start a new cinematic universe, this feels like a comic book movie from at least ten years ago, and even the stoic charisma of Vin Diesel can't save it.

A hot piece of garbage that won't be remembered!
| Original Score: 3/10 | Sep 12, 2020
So, while it may be faint praise to say Bloodshot is occasionally quite fun, that is very much the case.

Vin Diesel's Valiant Comics superhero can't transcend the Marvel-DC bipartisanship.

A rudimentary film that has trouble differentiating itself from others of the genre. [Full review in Spanish]

As the center of the story and as the titular superhero, [Vin] Diesel's acting is almost as artificially lifeless as Ray Garrison/Bloodshot.
