Bloodshot Reviews
The fast-paced, ever-changing storyline is the strength of this movie.

It's too bad that "Bloodshot" doesn't seem up to the task of fully skewering its genre and finding something new in the process, instead relying on resurrecting the dead for another bout of briefly diverting entertainment.

Bloodshot just isn't worth the effort.

It's Diesel-powered dumb fun.

While Bloodshot modestly delivers on the most rudimentary level, there's barely enough juice in that nanotechnology to bring such a paper-thin construct to life once, much less again.

By the time our man/machine finds himself in the time-honored pickle of dangling by one hand from a ledge 50 stories above the ground, Bloodshot has already given us an action movie hangover.
| Original Score: 2/4 | Mar 13, 2020
The burly, baritone-voiced action star's latest, Bloodshot, is a superhero rehash that epitomizes the 52-year-old's uninspired, risk-averse choices.

I think this movie was kind of a mistake.

Vin Diesel is dependable, if not especially challenged by a film that has most fun in the margins.
| Original Score: 3/5 | Mar 13, 2020
The action sequences look like they were edited by a Cuisinart.

[T]here is not much else to do while watching Bloodshot - other than tally the minutes.
| Original Score: 1.5/4 | Mar 12, 2020
Bloodshot cannot help but be a cult classic in the making. This is Hollywood escapism at its finest at a time when we need it the most.
| Original Score: 3/5 | Mar 12, 2020
An instantly forgettable mid-budget affair that relies on heavy dollops of CGI that would've looked cut-rate even in the early '90s...

There's a dull thud to "Bloodshot," a bruising action movie that can't equal its brawn with brains... "Bloodshot" is, at least, a little more interesting than it initially appears.
| Original Score: 2/4 | Mar 12, 2020
The action makes Bloodshot exciting, but LaMorne Morris almost single-handedly makes it fun.

If Vin Diesel were a 12-year-old boy, he couldn't have dreamt up a better movie for his fan base than "Bloodshot."
| Original Score: 2.5/4 | Mar 11, 2020
When the best thing about an action movie is its use of a great but 43-year-old Talking Heads song, you know you're in trouble.
| Original Score: 2.5/5 | Mar 11, 2020
"Bloodshot" is a lively and amiably stupid action movie, given an extra dose of atmosphere by the presence of Vin Diesel.
| Original Score: 2.5/4 | Mar 11, 2020
For a wild movie about a super soldier with nanotechnology running through his veins played by Vin Diesel, I bought into the concept enough, dug the movie's energy, and even walked away wanting to see what could come next should it launch a franchise.
| Original Score: 3.5/5 | Mar 11, 2020
A bewildering piece of good-bad sci-fi action trash.
