Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, o elenco é mais ou menos, e quase ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é mais ou menos, e o filme poderia ter cenas mais relevantes e boas.

A Classic Political Thriller. It's solidly made all around and is actually a hybrid of a first half courtroom drama and the second half is the Cold War thriller. The second half in general is just the stronger film storywise and does a good job with building up tension. This really does a good job covering all the beats of the Cold War. The nuclear war fears, espionage, the U2 planes, checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, East vs West, it's all here and really immerses you in the second half especially in this world. A hallmark of all Spielberg flick. This very much is like Munich (2005). very serious, slow burn, serious acting, and not a lot in the ways of action. It's really about the political tension. That being said, it feels like the first half which is like an hour of courtroom drama. Could've been cut down to like 10-15 minutes and not much would've been lost. It feels like it takes too long to build up to the second half. But it's still good what is there. Also the first half probably could've used a stronger soundtrack too as there really isn't any to speak of than. Anyone who is a fan of the director, thrillers, or any actors int his will like this a lot.

A great film, even if Spielberg and Tom Hanks have both done better.

I kept trying to get my dad to watch this film, but he died from a stroke before he could. Mom watched it with me and she knew this was a film he would have loved. Subtlety and nuance permeated the film, making it a must watch for anyone interested in the early days of the Cold War.

Another triumph from Steven Spielberg and another outstanding performance from Tom Hanks. Also an excellent performance from Mark Rylance.

While certainly not the best Steven Spielberg movie, it is probably the most gripping. Great story with some great messages: "Bridge of Spies" lives up to the title and premise while staying true and respectful to its source material.

Watched that movie in school recently. It was unexpectedly awesome! I really enjoyed the story. Must watch!

We should understand history and respect history

Very good movie based on real events

From the clothing, the Armenian brandy, to the ramshackle East Berlin of the 1960s, the attention to detail by Spielberg and his team is impressive! The direction and acting are first-rate. The film held one's attention from start to finish. That James Donovan was a 'stoykiy muzhik'!

Decent film. Worth a watch just for Mark Rylance's top notch acting.

Boring, boring, boring!

Led by a masterful performance by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg's tight direction, Bridge of Spies is slightly weighed down by some scenes of disinterest during the second act and the last 5 minutes, but it is an intriguing and focused film that is well written and very human in its depiction.

Unfortunately, the director believes we all understand the cold war and the difference between e and w Germany. Needed a bit more fleshing out for those not of that generation. Wonderfully protrayed although 70,000 ft plane scene was too unbelievable.

This movie shows that anyone can make a big difference if they are put in the right situation. The plot is interesting, and it shows the climate of the Cold War well.

Mark Rylance is a classy actor, and deserved more screen time, but just the few appearances were enough to win the Oscar. Bravo sir.

Bridge of Spies is an excellent movie, at least in terms of being a historical-based story. The actors do an amazing job at bringing life to their characters.

Not only is the story beautiful, the cinematography is captivating.

An epic war film. Tom Hanks always brings it and directed by Steven Spielberg makes this one special. Not sure how this one fell under the radar for me until 2023 when I watched on Showtime. Well done.
