Yeah, it's a rehash of an old idea, namely amounting to the equivalent of satanic Superman. That said, it was a fun watch with a darker, unofficial reimagining of a benevolent superhero into a demonic boy with superpowers. Quite entertaining if you like horror films that don't take themselves too seriously.

Not the greatest movie but not a bad one either. It had 1 or 2 suprising jump scares and some of the scenes were very brutal and gory. It's your basic what if movie. Go see if you can still find at theaters.

Characters too clueless. Disappointing plot and terrible ending. No answers provided to clean up story line. Children smarter than adults again.

Good flick, a lot of blood (it is more horror movie than anything else). Acting was solid all around as were the effects. Biggest gripe was how short it was. Thought they could have fleshed out the story a bit more.

The writer and producer should be put in a psych ward. This evil superman like story is pure dribble involving a psychopathic boy who kills all who ever cared about him with no redeeming story line or a plot whatsoever. Any psycho killers out there are the only ones who are crazy enough to enjoy this movie.

Good idea, bad execution

Really enjoyed this film. It had potential for so much more but I enjoyed it for what it was.

The story all over the place and didn't make sense at all.

I loved the spin on a classic story.

scares were ok and the gore surprised me. some characters annoyed me

Like any scifi movie, this one has its flaws. First, it looked like a low budget movie. The sets were just ok and the cgi was decent. Then, there was the so-so acting. I would have picked a different male lead and a different lead kid actor However, this was a fairly well done movie. At times, this felt like horror movie with a little bit of scifi mixed in. It appeared well directed and well produced. if you are bored or have a discount movie theater near you, go see it.

everything on the commerical was mostly the movie. save your money.

Ending wrapped things up a bit too quick. Could have developed a few more things but overall a fun movie.
