Panalo. Di mo aakalain na malilibang ka sa ganitong tema ng rom com. May chemistry yung dalawang bida at nakaka aliw un mga cameos
A group of characters that mesh together nicely on the screen. A story line true to life and definitely worth watching ..
Terrible movie. Billy Eichner is not a leading man and a terrible actor. Whining and pedantic at best.
cute date movie, but only for secure guys, or those who won't be offended by the self-deprecating humor. Fun cast!
Beautifully written and acted, a touching and engaging watch that balances humour, wisdom and pathos perfectly
I absolutely loved that movie and don't know why it didn't get more success upon its original release. it's well written and witty, endearing and emotional. The main actors have a lot of chemistry and cast ensemble is just perfect. I really regret it didn't come out in cinemas in Europe. Hope we'll see more of films of this kind in the future!
The lead character is so obnoxious and his voice so annoying that I actually closed my eyes and feel asleep at one point. I re-winded( I don't know why) and suffered to they end. That a handsome hunk would find this character (he's really unattractive as well) lovable is ridiculous!
Dreadful at every turn. Starring a man promoted way beyond his capabilities.
Didn’t like. Love Billy Eichner but his character was kind of annoying. Storyline seemed predictable. I didn’t finish watching.
Ughh! This movie was not fun. This movie was not funny.
The main relationship is cool, and the struggles between what they want versus what they really need make sense. But the rest? It's a bit hit or miss. That whole museum thing feels like it's begging for a parody, but the movie's dead set on this serious vibe that just doesn't land. And honestly, it's all dragging on a bit too much for my taste.
The central relationship works for the most part, as does the conflicts around what they think they want vs. what they actually need. The rest is really hit or miss (the museum plot seems ripe for parody as opposed to the more earnest perspective the movie keeps trying and failing to make work). Also I do think that its all just a tad too long.
It's an awesome movie with quite accurate representation
Funny, although a little forced.
If I'm watching a comedy alone, and it gets me to laugh out loud a time or two, that's a very good sign. During the couple hours I spent with this movie, I not only laughed out loud a good 6-8 times, but there was one scene that had me laughing so hard I was crying. That never happens. This is the sign of a potential comedy classic. Your enjoyment of this film will largely depend on your feelings toward Eichner. If his abrasive brand of humor is not your thing, you likely won't appreciate it. I personally find Eichner side-splittingly hilarious - BILLY ON THE STREET is my go-to show when I'm feeling down. What I didn't expect was the depth and skill of his performance! He obviously excels in the comedy, but he also shines in the more vulnerable and dramatic moments, particularly in a monologue in which he basically opens his heart. The whole film is surprisingly warm and tender - and absolutely hilarious. BRIDESMAIDS was able to secure an Oscar nomination for its screenplay - BROS deserves the same. There are lines here I'm sure will become part of my everyday vernacular. Its box office failure was disappointing but not entirely unexpected. And that's a shame. This is one of the best comedies I've seen in ages, and I have a feeling it's one of those movies that will only become more endearing to me over the years. Already looking forward to watching it again.
Super enjoyable and feel good queer film. Some great laugh out loud moments. Fab cameos.
When the first of this kind of moves emerged, it was so refreshing and interesting. Now this kind of movies are becoming boring and disgusting.
I'm actually surprised its so high rated. It was okay but it felt shallow and i sometimes felt like some of the queer centered jokes made by the main character should not have been said by the mc.
I've seen a lot of straight rom coms throughout my life, and few have made me tear up. This however is the perfect blend of poking fun at stereotypes, comedy, love, and most importantly, acceptance for one another.
A fun little rom com
