One of the only movies I was thoroughly entertained by the whole time. The ending is enough to watch this movie, as it's very climatic and absorbing. I like the characters, and the fact that this movie was based on a true story makes it more entertaining. Fun and has action easy to understand. Only reason this is not a five star is because sometimes I felt a little let down by the movie in regards to its sluggish middle. But overall great.

This movie didn't work for me. It simply couldn't work! It was so tiresome and it was really long, with long periods of no action. The acting was really good, both lead actors did an amazing job. They managed to show the despair that each of them was falling into, but in the end I never felt for them. The movie managed to enrage me and from that point on nothing could change my mind.

I'd thought it's some heist movie with more focus on sex (maybe the poster cover is to be blamed). However, the movie fared extremely well considering my low expectations. The only boring part was "The Voices", but I guess others would like it better in spiritual terms, and telling more about the character and whatnot. I'd not known about the movie more than stated above. I was taken aback when it mentioned, before the end credits start rolling, that it's based on real events, changing a few elements. Although the changes made were major, it couldn't have been this effective without them. Recommended this one which I went for very hesitantly (it was in my watch list for over a year). *P.S. Please mind that I've got used to using the fast forward button, and hence the movies are now less slower to me than they were previously. I'll supposedly not complain about the unwanted scenes so often, I guess.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Based on a real event, it happened in 1965. One man who is just out of jail becomes friends with another. They get involved in a robbery even though it's not supposed to be dangerous. One gets shot, they take the money and run. Somewhere along the way they become lovers. Beautiful move, sad ending.

I wouldn't say it's the best film because it was dribbling. It's based on a true Argentinian robbery that took place in the 1960s. The story revolved around the relationship of the 2 gay thugs and how one of their heists affected their relationships. It has a visually powerful editing, Hot and erotic would summarise the whole film.

Terrible cover for such a good movie.

Honestly, I don't remember too much about this film as I was more focused on hanging out and talking with my friends. I do know that I was disappointed in the story considering how good its reviews were. The story is about two gay criminal lovers on the lam, avoiding the authorities after a job goes bad. Since I thought this was going to be a gay film, I was surprised that there were several straight sex scenes and no gay scenes. Although the actors were competent, I had a hard time caring for the characters, especially since one of them seemed to be a sexoholic. There were also plot holes and it seemed like they were focusing more on the style of the film than the actual story. Some fans of this film will probably think I didn't watch the same film as them, but I can't really say much else other than this was my experience with it. Maybe a second viewing will change my mind, but I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

There's a heist, and then there's a lot of waiting. A _lot_ of waiting. And not in a good way--the movie just basically spins its wheels, with people pulling guns over and over again, and no real sense that the characters are going anywhere or that we're learning more about them. And then there's a protracted shoot-out. The end.

Primarily a gay love story woven into a robbery plot. Starts off well but from the middle there were too many long drawn scenes and unnecessary scenes made it tiresome to watch. This movie has one of the longest endings. All the females in the movie are depicted as snitches - good or bad, u decide.

It's kind of two movies. The one that deals with the two men is interesting. The second one is about the crimes and it is surprisingly slow only to pick up at the very end. It is cool that it's a true story though.

A movie about waiting. Doesn't sound too interesting, but when you have well written characters, their interactions become action. This is the story of a heist that goes a little awry. The gang must then hideout. This sounds easier than it is, as fingers begin to point at a setup, and a couple begin to drift apart. This whole time waiting becomes a time for the two protagonists to explore and experiment. It soon becomes obvious that money isn't the only thing at stake, but also pride and freedom, and not just the kind of freedom that involves keeping out of jail. The film, like the best crime thrillers, explodes into violence at a shocking speed. It emphasizes the realistic tone. I loved the 60's setting, and the music really captured the period. At times both frustrating and sad, it shows how humans will let their hearts take over, even if that means getting everyone killed/imprisoned and losing a lot of money in the process.

Hot and heavy ~ in every sense of the words. One hell of hot and true thriller. Angel and Sam are alpha male, gay lovers, with a passion and love between them that is captivating, just like their story...memorable.

It is compelling alright, and down straight perfection. Exquisite acting, script, directing, such a magnificent creation... harsh and intense, gripping with lust and greed, just the way as it should be. The vivid undertones of passion between the two all - encompassingly is mirrored in remarkable quality.
