Cellular Reviews
Arguably the worst film I’ve ever seen. The storyline is preposterous and silly, however it’s that bad I couldn’t stop watching it. It’s fast paced with lots of chases, but it could be a comedy film it’s that silly. It was good to see old cellphone technology though.
Man I love this film, the logic in this film is really ridiculous and the characters choices are questionable but it's a great film when you want to watch with your brain on neutral. A great cast of up and comers with seasoned veterans. Chris Evans, Jason Statham, Eric Christian Olsen and Jessica Biel. Along with veterans Kim Basinger and William H. Macy. Yes the film is dumb but it is so much fun.
So underrated, the plot is great and the action is plausible compared to something as ridiculous as 'wanted'. Seen it several times. Good film, well paced and no saggy bits!
so bad, but yet entertaining.... and couldn't look away so chessy directing the concept, idea is good but the execution poorly done
Two lies that this movie showed: -A Nokia phone brakes -The same Nokia phone has low battery
From the basic idea an exciting film with the young Chris Evans before he became Captain America, but who has aged incredibly badly (seen in 2023). Compared to today's productions, it looks like a 온라인카지노추천 production. In addition, it is difficult to see Jason Statham as a villain, since he is playing more heroic roles these days. Nowadays such a film would no longer find its way to the cinema but would disappear in the stream. Mediocre entertainment despite a prominent cast.

Seems kinda cheesy initially but it works out and is definitely a worthy thriller
The acting of Kim Basinger, William H. Macy, Jason Statham, and Chris Evans are good in this thriller that does a lot to show how far Cellular phone technology has come since 2004. Some good elements of suspense and quasi-action but not very believable or particularly exciting. Hard to believe they were able to assemble this cast for this one.
It started off quite slowly but soon heated up! Fast paced and interesting.
Chris Evans and William H Macy saved this movie from being any weaker of a score than my rating of 6 out of 10. Both were the saving graces. Basinger and even Statham were quite weak in this as they tried too hard to be convincing in their roles. And overacted they both did. Watch and see what I mean! Enjoyable enough overall to watch though. Some real hokey moments at times just to be aware of.
Not very good really. Bruce Willis is great as always, Matthew Perry is just Chandler Bing and everything else is pretty humdrum. Rosanna Arquette is shockingly awful . Don't stay in especially to see it ( and apparently there's a sequel !!!!!!!)
Not the first movie I've seen like this that is just.... perfectly average. Comparatively speaking, it's not great but I can't really find anything to not like about it other than the implausibility of the story. The wonders that a straight forward, well paced story can do.
Oh dear... you got the wrong family! Ricky Martin... that's a familiar name haha. Really a biology teacher can fix busted phone? Prefect training ground for future Captain American that really needs an hand-free kit. I would rename it as A Phone Can Kill You haha...
It's far from winning an Oscar, neither is it close to being one of the best action films ever made, but it's got a few merits. Cellular is well shot, fast paced, and features a memorable cast. Chris Evans was alright as a man considered to be self-centered, who winds up trying to do what's right to save another person's life. It also features a solid side act by William H. Macy. I also liked how, even though there are elements of action in this movie, it actually focuses more on the story, it isn't just a bunch of mindless shootings, made for the cash grabs. But unfortunately, I found Cellular to be uneven, the second half being much better than the first one. It's also lacking, presumably due to its PG-13 rating. I found it interesting how the movie shows us the importance of technology in our modern world, being a good thing and a bad thing. Overall, Cellular wasn't too bad, it's got many flaws, but if you're a fan of the action/thriller genre, you should give this one a look!!
Cell phone is an apprehensive and very intelligent film, Kim Basinger manages to give a solid performance, unlike many films of his career.
