Daisey Ridley, Mads, and Demian turned a teen sci-fi flick into an enjoyable experience.

fun, future-fantasy, different, creative.

I did enjoy the acting by Ridley and Holland. And the concept of the movie where males inner thoughts are broadcast and they have no secrets in essence was good. But the movie is full of plot holes. For example Daisy's character is seen stealing from their house in the woods. Chases her to find this crashed scout ship at least the size of a half dozen or more school buses. And this thing crashed into the trees and woods starting fires all around it, within a short run from their house .. and NO ONE heard it? Wow. And then when they come across the remains of the original settler ship. But it's huge and was never cut into pieces or used in the settlements? ANY good colony plan includes using all available resources INCLUDING the original ship stripping it for every wire and circuit, and stripping it down for all metals to use in early foundries. That ship should not exist, let alone have working emergency broadcast beacons. I think that is what is disappointing. The storyline not to bad. But huge gaps in logic and consistency to the timeline and it leaves a mess of a story.

Intense, funny & unique.

really great and fun movie. got bad reviews but I honestly really enjoyed it. it was an original concept which there is very few of those now. all there is now is reboots and sequels. but this was good. good amount of humor and seriousness with a good twist and suspense. would definitely watch again

It was good. Just wish they would have went into more details about why you could hear only the men’s thought and the natives that were already living on the planet.

First movie back in theaters in over a year. I had a blast, love Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley. Love the concept and story of the movie.

I am really glad I watched the trailer (previews) before watching the movie, or it would have been hard to follow. Good performances by the actors, but the story went by quickly, with not much development.

Slow moving. However movie was entertaining.

Fast paced with a fair amount of comedic relief to break up the intensity. Nice entertainment!

Describe the movie in short sentence: Only a set up. On the positive end, the movie has a very unique and intriguing foundation for the story arc, with a number of elements having a lot of powerful mystery to them. Very attention grabbing, and not in a typical Hollywood explosion manner. However, on the negative side, the movies plot moved along so slowly that at one point one would wonder if there would be a climax point/final battle. As well, some mysteries werent answered so the climax was somewhat anticlimactic because there was still so much that wasnt explained. Overall, I wouldnt recommend seeing this movie on its own, wait until (if) the second is released

Very entertaining! I enjoyed the interplay between characters and the good winning out over the bad.

I wasn’t expecting much but just wanted to go to the movies but we enjoyed it.
