This is a best piggy movie ever I wanna see it🤣🤣
This film is similar to Babe, but the brilliant adaptation of the original and the literary and intelligent story that even children will enjoy will make you less confident that Babe is clearly the better film. Fern (Dakota Fanning) rescues a baby pig that is about to be killed by its father. The pig, whom she names Wilbur, is eventually sold to a nearby farmer. Wilbur makes friends with Charlotte, a spider who is not well-liked by the other animals in the farmhouse. Wilbur is born in the spring and has a goal of seeing snow. However, spring-born pigs are roasted as pork and turned into sausage or ham by winter. This makes it difficult for spring-born pigs to see the snow. In order for Wilbur to see the snow and not become a sausage, Charlotte spells out a message on her nest. "Some Pig." Eleven years before this there was a film about an Australian pig called Babe. This film is not as critically acclaimed as Babe, but it is a better story than Babe on some fronts, a beautifully crafted adaptation of E.B. White's children's book for children and adults alike, with some intelligent and sensitive remnants of children's literature in the film. Babe excels in many areas, but if you look at the story alone, perhaps this film is better. The animals are vividly portrayed, and the friendship between a pig and a spider is delicately and wonderfully portrayed. It is nothing short of wonderful.
Really good recreation of the book and good animation
I have just seen this film today and I loved it very much. They didn't change the story line one bit.Even some of the lines were from the book and the old cartoon film.It was very enjoyable.A film for the hole family. My favorite part was when everyone in the theater clapped. It was lovely. There was no reason anyone should be unsatisfied. The animation was fabulous and the casting was great too.It was fun.I really feel like a child again. It brought back memories of my sweet childhood.I love Daktoa Fanning, and putting her with animals was just the cherry one top of the ice cream! She was wonderful!A delight for the whole family! I loved the pig! He was so cute! The voice of the pig was wonderful! It was sad too.I cried :( (yeah I'm a big baby!)the movie showed that even when the best thing is gone...it still lives in your heart.
Didn't stray far from the source material, so just as cute and charming as the story itself.
Fun for children and the overly sentimental parents, it's charming in places and the whole family will enjoy it. That being said, as a film it is cliched and really brings nothing new or innovative to an already simplistic story. Worth a worth with kids that haven't seen it before or young enough to want to watch it again but with a slow story and little substance, it's harder to watch repeated viewings as an adult.
The least ****ing funny 01 hour: and 38 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bull****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cute story based on the classic children’s book. Great cast of voices however some lame visual effects spoil the farm house.
Charlotte's Web is a cute film. It is about a literate spider who weaves an elaborate plan to save her friend, Wilbur, from the butcher's block. Dakota Fanning and Julia Roberts give terrific performances. The screenplay is good but a little slow in places. Gary Winick did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor and adventure. Charlotte's Web is a must see.

Decent watch, probably won't watch again, but can recommend for younger audiences. It's based off of a famous book, Dakota Fanning, Steve Buscemi, Julia Roberts are all charming in their own ways, but I never realized what a dud of a character Wilbur was before this. Sure, he's a happy-go-lucky guy and social trend setter, but he's a character that needs a lot of help and doesn't even really give back. The story feels like a more modern fable: there is a lesson of morality and life here, but it is a lot more subtle than I'm used to fables being. Of course this has a cooked in version of explaining life and death to young children, but it feels like it tries to convey that a life well served, however short, is good life. This does make the movie oddly charming, but I can't say that it makes it as great as I remember the book being. Now, that may be nostalgia glasses, or maybe I have them for the this movie, but I think, in the end, it's an average movie with a good story that kids might like.
If you are a fan of the book you might like this otherwise it brings nothing new to the table.
