One of the best John Carpenter and Stephen King movies I've ever seen. Don't know why this movie garners up so much negative energy, this is a definitely must watch movie.

So awesome seeing it on the big screen

This movie is adapted from Stephen King's book about an evil 1958 Plymouth Fury that helps a high school student take down the bullies that picked on him but ultimately causes a transformation in him- that some would call Arnie Cunningham's character possessed. While this movie is worth a watch- be advised- that this movie is not for viewers of a younger age. I would recommend that adults 18 or older would watch this movie. The plot is great- the characters make it work- and the ending is somewhat satisfying in a way that- yeah- there's justice at the end- BUT- it raises the question- could something so EVIL resurrect?

Boring and rubbish. This movie was not scary at all.

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, o filme coloca um carro assassino com mortes meio burras, o cara em vez de pular muro em muro para escapar não ele ficou correndo em linha reta, e o filme demorou 1 hora para ter mortes para um filme de terror é muito tempo para ter 1 morte, eles também não explicam o motivo do por que o carro era assassino, com tudo isso, eu não sei se recomendo esse filme, e só as mortes salvam o filme.

John Carpenter's Christine is a thrill ride of mystery and suspense but some were not in the movie based on Stephen King's novel and not sure who did this but you can tell they don't want any violent scene and the casting are good and writing is fine but doesn't feel like Stephen King's universe however I really love John Carpenter's score and of course the devil itself with four wheels Christine she's very terrifying she-beast machine.

It comes off as flat and sloppily made now, I don’t think John Carpenter’s vision clicks with Steven King’s.

Unlike many other films in the horror/thriller genre, this movie skips the usual boring explanations and dives straight into the action, keeping things interesting and exciting from the very beginning. I couldn't find a single dull moment; it delivers pure, nonstop thrills

It was a decent horror movie , not my favorite adaptation of Stephen King but still seeing this movie now in 2024 it's a great 80s horror.

It's hard to make a car menacing, and Christine doesn't get there. But the tale of obsession with a teen's car hits well.

A fantastic Stephen King book turned into a movie. I think this is a underated horror movie directed by John Carpenter. $300 for Christine when the brother , daughter and wife all died in the car. Damn that's a steal. Love that John Carpenter score. Big fan of John Stockwell . 9/10 it's a great horror movie I watch every spooky season .

A story of a nerdy kid and his possessed car. The premise is interesting but the plot is a bit too sloppy and campy.

This was great and pretty freaky when i watched it as a kid but it doesn't hold up great. Worth watching at least once, if you enjoy classic cars or older horrors.

I really enjoyed this movie. Being a car guy who absolutely loves cars, this movie hits home and is rather relatable. It is also a very enjoyable entertaining movie which i think even those who have no interest in cars will enjoy. The acting is very strong, especially for the movies age (over 40 years old now) and the cinematography is very well done. Overall I’d highly reccomend this movie, especially for car enthusiasts.

John Carpenter is one of my favorite directors, but this movie doesn't quite work for me. Keith Gordon doesn't have the acting chops to play Evil Arnie.

Exceptional paper to screen adoption with likeable characters, plot and visually enjoyable.

Anything was a slasher, holidays, events and a car! Christine is such a goofy movie that back then probably fit in with the other horror b movies.

Film is a mixed bag. What I think it ultimately comes down to is that the plot just doesn't fit a movie. I never really felt scared or emotionally attached to the story going on. At times there seemed to be a lack of logic that played into this. In reality, I think certain details were suppose to develop more slowly then they were. It seemed like they may have either had to cut scenes or rush a large part of it to fit within the 2 hour mark. Very mediocre. Recommended maybe to car lovers other than that this film is just kinda meh.
