Coraline Reviews
This movie was my childhood, but it scared me a lot, I think that the movie is more for PG 13 audiences because when you analyze the movie you found secrets that aren’t so family friendly, but perhaps that this movie is greatful and enjoyable to watch
the film compare to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
this is my childhood movie i ever seen we used to watch this and is the best movie ever
this is a horror movie do not watch if you are a child please i watched it at 3 am and coraline's uncle's aunt's mothers' sister's grandfather's dog busted through the door and ate my whole pantry
one of my favorite movies of all time 8.5/10
This movie is simply the movie that I watch twice in a row and don't get bored it's simply my favourite movie. It's like I watched it since it came out like 300 times, no overrating I swear, this is simply good for anyone.
I loved the movie! I really like the aesthetics and setting, as well as the soundtrack, the story is simple but effective, and I liked the characters. It became my favorite movie!
Name a better film! Surreal funny and exciting
Sinceramente, é a minha terceira animação favorita, só perde pra aranhaverso e como treinar seu dragão, mas é muito épica, é uma animação de terror com uma história envolvente,e tensa, eu acho que é o único filme que superou o livro que adaptou
this movie is just so amazing it is a favorite of mine. I know it is not likely for a Corline 2 to come out but I am hoping. if you like the movie you should really consider reading the book.
A bit boring, could be way better. But hey, It's better that wicked.
Beautiful dark and cozy. The story and the atmosphere makes unforgettable mood and tone of the film.
The story of this movie is well above its grade I loved every second of this movie great casting unreal stop motion animation comedic moments yet a scary twisted side to it for sure recommend I would rate it a 96%
Sakto lang. Maganda un animation & story plot. Bigatin pa ng mga casts. Hindi ko lang talaga na enjoy masyado siguro dahil hindi sakto sa panlasa ko.
I couldn't imagine how a movie could be that great. The story and visuals correlate with each other and the ending was so ideal
This film was about a girl called Coraline who felt quite ignored her parents, so she began investigating the new house she had just moved into. She then found a door which led her to ‘the other world’ where there was a different version of everyone, except they all had buttons in their eyes. They never ignored her and treated her well. But it turns out, her other mother (the beldam) is trying to trap her there forever. She then had turned into a spider looking monster after getting angry at Coraline. So, she tries to escape. She has to find the eyes of the lost souls that were captured in the Beldam’s world. Then the Beldam captures Coraline’s parents. She saves them, and throws away the key to the other door. Everyone seems so much more appreciative to have her back in the normal world. The best part of the film for me was when Coraline was trying to escape the Beldam. I liked this part because it was quite tense, and you weren’t sure what could happen next. My least favourite part was when Coraline and Whybie were watching the mouse circus in the other world, because I found that everything the mice did in the circus was quite expectable. What I found most interesting about this was that all of their sculptures that they used to put the film together had tiny little movements in the mouths so that you could cleanly make them look like they are talking. In this film, I learnt about how detailed the sculptures are, and how they make all sorts of different facial expressions: they remove the bottom part of the face a replace it with a different mouth, and they get tiny instruments and use them to move the eyes and eyelids into different places. I think the music really fit, because it was quite creepy, as was the film too. It also has small bits of happy/ humorous music too, for the small funny scenes. I would definitely recommend this, because as well a just watching the film, you also get to learn so much about how it was made and how long it took and all the tiny details. It also has a mixture of both of these aspects: horror and humour. Ruby K. (Age 13 yrs.)
I remember watching Coraline as a kid, it was creepy! but now, it is a Iconic, Halloween stop motion film.
Removes some of the darker and more complicated aspects of the source material to make the narrative more accessible for its target audience. Nonetheless, the spell that this film cast upon me as when I was 12-year-old has never been broken by the cynicism of adulthood. A comfort movie if I’ve ever known one.
