Cry Wolf è un thriller adolescenziale che combina le stesse basi di "Saw" e "Scream" formando un film non tanto memorabile ma molto godibile! Non annoia mai, i personaggi sono approfonditi nel giusto (quasi tutti) e il finale, nonostante richiami molto lo schema di cinepresa uguale a "Saw" (uscito un anno prima, che coincidenza), lascia quasi a bocca aperta! Non un capolavoro, non un brutto film ma un buon horror/giallo per il giovane pubblico per passare una serata intrigante! Voto: 7,5

A great scary movie that leaves you on a slight cliffhanger, but not the movie that needs a sequel, it’s the kind of scary that builds suspense and is absolutely terrifying DURING the actual film but not so much after. as a 12 yr old, This was the perfect movie for me because I was able to go to sleep after but was still left stunned after it was over

A highly underrated movie thats stuck with me all these years. Suspenseful af; it builds & builds & builds the drama. The atmosphere is perfect. The story is absolutely absurd but this movie does not cheat. It gives you the clues & ends satisfactorily. Several stand out performances from the 2 leads & Bon Jovi.

this movie is underrated and a really good movie bon Jovi does a really good job of being a horrible person and the teens who are played by Jared Padalecki lindy booth Julian Morris Kristy Wu Sandra McCoy Jesse Janzen and Paul James do really good jobs at acting watch its a really good whodunit movie.

Once again I don't understand why reviewers are rating good movies poorly, and poor movies well. This was an excellent well-acted movie with a great plot and ending. Don't pay attention to the low scores. Watch it for yourself as I highly recommend it!

A waste of time with an even more wasteful ending that made it feel so much more insultful

Esta película de suspenso pinta como si fuera un slasher, pero en realidad no lo es. Juega con el cuento de Juanito Y El Lobo de una manera oscura que si bien no está mal, no ofrece el terror que promete. Aunque la participación de Bon Jovi parece prometedora, la verdad no ofrece mucho por más que su personaje cumpla un objetivo vital para la trama. Todo es puro engaño y trampas hasta que al final hay un giro argumental que revela la verdadera mente maestra detrás de todo. Como una película de suspenso y misterio es un thriller interesante, pero su gran fallo es tratar de aparentar ser una película de terror. Mi nota para esta película es un 7/10.

This is not a good movie to begin with, and it really didn't age well!

Turd in teen slasher punch bowl. What turns out to be unbelievable and hard to accept in this film, never eases, and ultimately the suspension of disbelief, which needs to be earned...is not. We are asked to accept certain assumptions that are revealed in the end. Those assumptions are based on a weak story line. I waited for the big reveal and was cheated of it in the end. Ultimately a forgettable film and story. The acting wasn't half bad actually, so I feel for the thespians asked to deliver this week plot, an unachievable goal, for anyone.

Dull and overdone, the tale of the stalking killer of college kids is nothing new nor thrilling.

This was a really good movie the plot twist was fun and so were the characters. the actors did a great job and the movie had Bon Jovi in it WTF that's a win, The characters were likeable and relatable and felt like actual kids you would find in a High School. It was a nice Mystery movie and was a nice change in the horror movie department the only negative thing i can think of is that one or two scenes were slow.

Decent movie if you like thrillers but your girlfriend doesn't want to get too scared. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 35.

Booth is great and the twists and turns keep you guessing and engaged. A lot of fun.

Another crappy horror movie

A move that I knew existed but never bothered to see until now. Most likely because I was in my college days of devouring 80s and 90s horror films I never watched as a kid. A lot of early and mid-2000s horror slipped past me. Not that Cry Wolf was worth seeking out, so at least I wasn't missing anything. A prep school for rich kids gets a British transfer student who automatically sticks himself into the clique group of popular kids. These kids play a game where one of them is the "Wolf" or person with lipstick on their chest, and the rest are "Sheep" or the dumbed down masses that follow the skinniest prettiest girl...oh wait, no that one is accurate. Anyways, instantly bored of this game, they decide to use the recent murder of a girl to design their own email that starts rumors about the killer killing teens all over the place. This pisses some people off while also apparently drawing the ire of the actual killer. This part of the film I didn't have a problem with. It's goofy but works as a motive for a killer. The rest of this film is where it ends though. The group of teens have this idea that they are so clever, the two main leads especially. This movie has an air of it trying to make me believe I don't know what's going on. All the while thinking it's throwing red herrings all over the place. In the end, it just feels like a low-end generic thriller that has a twist that is nowhere close to new and clever. That in itself isn't too bad, but being subjected to unlikable characters that spout out smarm and useless dialogue makes it harder to watch. Let's just say I am not that sad I missed this one when it came out. It's not a hard watch just a completely uninteresting one void of anything clever while acting like its super clever.

I enjoyed it. For what was originally written as a short its a nice little thriller.
