Daylight Robbery Reviews
Paris Leonti's debut feature film might not be original in any respect, but the director successfully takes a tried and true formula and makes it his own. Enhanced (not hindered) by its small budget, 'Daylight Robbery' is a consistently thrilling heist movie that provides some edge-of-the-seat tension, and could've benefited by more time devoted to fleshing out some of the characters. It is worth mentioning, however, that newcomer Robert Boulter (whose experience comes from some television work) steals the show. Unfairly annihilated by most critics, 'Daylight Robbery' is the perfect beer and pizza night movie.
A promising idea is let down by weak storytelling in this well-played but lacklustre Brit crime thriller. Acting is bad, Direction is bad, Not much is very good. I say SKIP IT!!!
Granted this is just an Inside Man knock off which they even admit in a line towards the end. This movie is just a bank robbery movie. Very predictable, acting wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't horrible either. The cops in this movie are idiots, and that is what made this movie less enjoyable. Their response to what was going on was ridiculous and provided no real conflict. In fact other than the wounded guy there was no real conflict and I never thought they weren't going to get away with it. Why? because they would ask for something and the cops would be like, anything to help the situation. Other than that it was okay. Nothing special. Maybe something to watch if you don't have any better options.
No "inside man" in the suspense department. But on the other hand it felt a bit more down to earth and real
This movie is about a group of British football fans who plan a big bank robbery. They want to rob a bank and use the World Cup as their coverup. They unexpectedly end up taking hostages and must finish the heist before their plane leaves in just a few hours. This movie was good entertainment and the acting was good as well. I like watching British movies every once in a while and this movie wasn't bad.
Didn't get my buy in at all. Obvious plot and none of the charm of say 'Lock Stock'...Clumsy direction.
british crime movie with a low budget and a relatively unknown cast, usually not a good mix but in this case it works quite well actually. a decent storyline about a bank robbery and a few twists thrown in there make this a film worth watching.

The robbers aren't such bad guys because they got families, the cops are a bit incompetent and don't forget there's the should-be-perfect getaway plan that gets skewed. Predictable & slow but slick looking heist film.
bon la version doublee n'arrange rien, mais ce film est leeeeeent au possible. Rien de nouveau dans le monde du braquage avec ce film , pas de revolution (vulgarite, otages, fric, police...).
A fair British heist movie, good plot with decent acting. Was hoping for a bit more humour but at least the pace kept you interested.
