Dead Snow Reviews
A pretty basic zombie B movie with some fun gore thrown in.
What is it about this movie that just feels fresh, interesting and fun? One of my favorite comfort movies. Part two is also really good! The scenery is also perfect!
Gross, darkly funny and bonkers, Dead Snow is a hella fun zombie film with ridiculous action and some memorable characters.
Dead Snow was an overall good, unique film worth seeing once. I'm not a fan of subtitles, especially in intense horror movies, as it deters from the effect of the film. But, it's nobody's fault that Norwegians speak, well, Norwegian. The terrible CGI/special effects are actually part of what makes this film worth the watch. This film is absolutely brutal and fun, if nothing else.
Well, in general, the norm are so terrible about the Germans
A really great Zombie movie
I didn't expect much, but was still disappointed. 3.6/10 - Watch Evil Dead, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Machete instead.
Funny yet very entreating from start to end.
Well, the movie was categorized as a horror comedy. The first session of the movie had a weak comedy but it improved with the second session. As for horror, I really liked their zombie style and charisma, but the jumpscares were not good enough with the screams that had no reason to exist. Overall it was a fairly good experience.
Genre zombie splatter in, with shitloads of movie buff references to classic pulp cult. Gory and entertaining, yet still original in itself. Wirkolas entrance to the scene, recommended.
very bloody but the sequel it exaggerate so much more the blood
Fun and zany gorefest that keeps you entertained, that's all I can ask for in this comedic zombie horror.
Fun little Norwegian horror comedy featuring nazi zombies. Not at all scary, but there is plenty of budget gore (some of it computer generated). Clearly influenced by The Evil Dead and Braindead, both of which are name checked in the film, though it never rises to that level.
An insane and a fun time This Comedy I highly recommend for fans of horror comedies and watching parties with friends but it's not for everyone
I liked the sequel more but .the first movie was still great. the concept of nazi zombies was ridiculous and overall a great zombie movie
The last decade or so has been good to the self-aware horror-comedy genre, and as a result you've got plenty to choose from that is not Dead Snow. Way too focused on establishing a setup that is riddled with cliches and generic elements (and if these were put in to contrast with the humor later on, they didn't do a good job), the movie only becomes palatable when it decides to fully embrace the silliness - hanging over a cliff by zombie intestines, or throwing a Molotov only to accidentally set your house on fire. But these moments are so sparing, and the rest is so boring. Maybe it's a cultural gap, and if I were able to appreciate the dialogue better I might have a different experience, but Dead Snow seems like it leaves a lot to be desired. (1.5/5)
This movie had a lot of potential with it's ridiculous premise but it somehow managed to be pretty forgettable. The characters often make plain stupid decisions, and not in a tongue-in-cheek breaking-the-fourth-wall kind of way, but more of a poor-writing-choices kind of way. It did have some solid gore made with impressive practical effects, but it was overly obsessed with intestines and it got a bit old. Some of the dialogue was clever and it did a decent job of being atmospheric, but it wasn't really unique enough to make its premise worth it.
The film Dead Snow is one of the most violent and brutal movies I've ever seen, so it's sure not for the faint of heart. It's a really good movie with a great sequel and I like zombie type movies and 온라인카지노추천, so if you like that kind of thing, you're in for a ride.
