Yo my mind was going crazy this whole movie like man the powers they can do are so freaking trippy man but I freaking love it. The way Strange can manipulative those buildings had my mind like how are you even doing that parkour I for sure would've busted my ass lol. The ancient one really had me on my heels there is always some twist man with the leaders but hey she was good sucks she had to go so early. This whole movie just shows why Doctor Strange is one of my favorite Marvel characters. How could you hate on him love that the cape was drawn to him looks so bad ass and the personailty on that thing gives it some character good choices Scott!!!

This was such an amazing and mind-bending movie. The visuals were spectacular, and the story was compelling. I definitely recommend it for superhero fans!

This is the most ok movie I have ever seen, from the characters to the villains to the plot, this movie was fine.

A beautifully shot, magical ride with a tragic origin along with it. The intro to Stephen Strange is an interesting, deep, and sad story that makes you really feel for him. He shows that he is a complex character who has problems but grows by the end. Visually, this movie has some of the most crazy and jaw dropping fight scenes that reminds you of other movies like Inception. It’s a simple story that takes ideas from many other MCU origin stories, but still works. Mads Mikkelsens villain role is very bland and forgettable, one of my only negatives but it is a big one. Still, a familiar but well told story. 7.6/10

Doctor Strange's magic-based action sequences are simply incredible and well-developed. You can tell the director had a lot of creativity when it came to creating this film.

This Marvel movie about a reluctant hero tells an excellent story with superb special effects even though it isn't the best Marvel has ever put out.

This follows a very tried and predictable superhero movie pattern, making the plot and character development very predictable. The cgi and visuals are beautiful and the acting is mostly good. A decent addition to the mcu, though it feels more like a stepping stone than anything individually worthwhile.

The occasional humorous one liners, fight scenes and excellent effects were still not enough to mitigate the long stretches of boredom. Great if you are really into the MCU. But as a casual viewer, I found this film tedious.

Doctor Strange is a quite funny movie with amazing, Inception-inspired visual effects. The characters are well-written. Doctor Strange is an egoistic, money-oriented person and his arc is satisfying. I liked the antagonists, because they are not just purely evil, they were corrupted and deceived. I loved the themes of fighting for more than yourself, redemption and time. The dialogues are quite funny, but not always great. I didn't like the tease for the continuation. It does make some sense, I just didn't like it, because it seemed out of character. The cinematography is fine, the editing too. The pacing is good, it has a slow start, but I think that has a purpose. The visual effects are amazing. I don't think there was much practicality, which I don't really like, but it does look great. It's very Inception-inspired and I could see Tenet in it too, even though it came out later. The cast is great, Benedict Cumberbatch is perfect for the role. The score is surprisingly bad, it felt out of place at times. Doctor Strange is a funny movie, with great character arcs and an interesting story, but nothing extremely unique or special.

Doctor Strange boasts a brand new kind of action in the MCU, but that was just about all it boasted as new in this universe. The sorcerors and the magic were a very fun gimmick and Strange himself is a very good character, as well as the Ancient One and Wong. But when it comes to the threat of the film, played by the magnificent Mads Mikkelsen, it comes to a screeching underwhelming halt. Kaecilius, the big bad, feels almost like an afterthought for the entirety of the film, being loomed over by a bigger threat who is on the screen FAR less than Kaecilius was. Mads Mikkelsen did his best when he was on screen, but he didn’t feel like the threat that he was made out to be, though he did get to have a few great scenes. Benedict Cumberbatch, on the other hand, showed the duality of a complex character that has been unseen since the first Iron Man movie and Robert Downey’s journey in his character. This, alone, bumps the movie up tremendously, and makes it a fine film in the MCU timeline.
