In the genre of werewolf films especially for its time, this movie sets the standard for its costumes and general tone, the story is well written and action sequences are quite entertaining, as is the combination of werewolves and soldiers being an original idea making this film that more fun. Definitely worth a watch. 7.5/10

Dog Soldiers has great effects, some scary scenes, and solid enough characters for a film like this. I'm not sure what I expected exactly, but it wasn't my favorite. I feel that the tone shifted a bit too much. Towards the end, the werewolves didn't really feel scary. It got a little too campy for me. Honestly though, if you like seeing practical effects, and are ok with the goofiness, I'd definitely give it a shot! At least once. Art is subjective!

Best werewolf movie ever !!

I always loved this movie. I mean just the name of the movie is great. The storyline was original back in the day. It's in my top 10 werewolf movies. The werewolves are scary looking and that is such a plus. This makes all the scenes with them so much more horrific to watch. I am hoping for a sequel some day. If not, I will keep playing the 4k bluray I now own. ScreamFactory released a great looking transfer of this awesome movie.

In a time when vampire and zombie movies rule we got an amazing werewolf movie. Predator+Night of the living dead=Dog soldiers. Amazing cast and awesome practical effects you don't see in modern movies.

Gloriously low budget and grindhouse-y, the film is still a killer soldiers versus werewolves flick with plenty of time for gore, laugh, and intense scenes from Liam Cunningham

One of those late 90's early 2000's guy flicks that no studio will make nowadays because it's not a superhero movie or a remake. Some of the acting was kind of cliche and over dramatic. But the werewolf costumes and blood fx for the time it was created were pretty good.

Very good movie with very scary werewolves.

Humor so subtle you have to be alert or you'll miss it. The border Collie was by far the best actor, but the creatures were scary and overall I enjoyed this one a lot. Credits had a newspaper with "Werewolves ate my entire platoon!" as a headline. Made me wonder if I had unknowingly watched watched comedy.

In my opinion this is joint top with American werewolf in London as the best werewolf film of all time.

went in thinking just another werewolf film and dam was i wrong , interesting yet basic plot, a few twists that were nice and alots of action and blood, all in all a great werewolf film. also realy good take on the look of the werewolfs, over just makeing them wolfs which i fine to be lazy.

Absolutely great movie it never gets old.

The best werewolf movie of all time, it mixes terror, mystery and suspense in just the right dose. The tension only increases as the movie progresses, where a group of soldiers have to fight with all their might to escape the attacks of werewolves thirsty for fresh human flesh and blood.

This is one of the best werewolf movies ever made. The cast is great, well written and flushed out. The werewolf design is 100 percent perfect but God is it better then almost 90 percent of other movies that just use a regular dog or wolf. "Cough twilight cough" I recommend this movie to anyone especially those who love werewolf movies.

🍅 9.0/10 Please tell me this is a cult classic. Me and the boys when the werewolves be knocking. This is pure cheesy fun hell yeahs. It goes back to old-school 80s 90s thriller action like predator, but with werewolves and it feels good it is so fun to watch. Grade A

Great werewolf movie.

From classic squady/ British humour and slang to its battle for survival, an absolute classic British horror. Watched this as a very young lad and can't help but keep coming back time and time again. Gets better every time!! For me spoon hammering the werewolf's hand coming through the letter slot too Sean Pertwee actually braking his nose on set just add to what clearly needs a sequel! "I hope I give you the shits, you f…..g wimp."

Brit horror B movie which is laughable than scary.

Typical British comedy action horror. Lots of action and one liners. Good easy to watch and enjoyable lads movie.
