Doghouse Reviews

Nov 20, 2024

Doghouse is a fun, gory ride that doesn't take itself too seriously. The film is well-shot, with solid performances from Danny Dyer and Noel Clarke, who bring a lot of energy and humor to the mix. While it leans heavily into some horror-comedy clichés, it still delivers plenty of laughs and over-the-top gore to keep things entertaining. The premise is simple, and while the story doesn't aim to be deep, the pacing works well, keeping you engaged throughout. It's surely not a masterpiece, but it's a solid watch if you're in the mood for a bloody, lighthearted, and distinctly British zombie romp.

Yeah it looked good. Nice palette, well-choreographed, all good. Solid sound mix with subtlety. I would have loved to work on this. This is nowhere near as good as Evil Aliens (2005). I'm a bit bored of this zombie vibe. This felt like a sell-out movie unlike the director's previous movies. Still it was entertaining and had lots of crazy moments and dislikeable (if predictable) characters. Full of zombie-women, blood, gore and craziness but somehow didn't quite work.

Personally thought this move was well above average for it's genre in a time when everyone is making zombie this or that this movie stands out amongst them.

Trashy, goofy and gory. It's a silly little zombie comedy that is ripe for causing outrage in today's climate. There's a couple funny bits, but it's overall far too dumb to hold up.

Stuck it on the 온라인카지노추천 for the actors in it, turned it off before ending.

Flawed but fun zombie movie.

Mad, lightweight, silly and very British. Not anywhere near as classy as Shaun of The Dead and typical Danny Dyer fayre which should give anyone a good idea of what bang you get for your buck. Effects are passable and there's just enough humour to forgive it for much of it's amateurish quality. Go into it expecting a low grade zombie romp with a few cans of decent beer and you'll be fine for a weekend giggle. If you're after anything more than that, grab something else.

Probably one of the worst films I've ever seen. Abysmal.

It's a mix and match, the humor didn't really hit me and the battle of the sexes aspect was a bit distasteful at times. It's still rather fun, good gore, and a lot of gross moments. It could be better, but it still felt well-made for a indie zombie flick.

I think it's a bit late to start praying, don't you? A group of friends get together after one of them experiences a painful divorce. They head to a remote town in Europe only to discover all of the men are missing and all of the women are man eating zombies. Can the group of friends survive the zombie outbreak? "What's your name again?" "Call me Candy." Jake West, director of Razor Blade Smile, Evil Aliens, Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes, a segment of ABC's of Death, and the upcoming Spitfire, delivers Doghouse. The storyline for this picture is entertaining and fun to watch unfold. I liked the characters in their clumsy cliché way. The acting is pretty good and I enjoyed seeing Stephen Graham in something other than Boardwalk Empire. The cast also includes Danny Dyer, Noel Clarke, Lee Ingleby, Christina Cole, and Terry Stone. "You fucking monkey's arse ring." Doghouse is a movie I grabbed because the plot sounded interesting and who doesn't love a good zombie picture. I did like some of the elements of this picture and loved the over the top make-up and villains. Overall, this is an entertaining film worth a viewing but far from a classic. "I actually don't think I used that finger for anything." Grade: C+

Really silly film. But had me laughing almost all the way through..Bit of a Shaun of the dead feel to it. Worth watching if ur bored

It has some funny bits. It was nice that they mentioned Evil Dead, because this was very heavily influenced by that and Shaun of the Dead. It had my attention for the most part, it is kind of fun, but the ending was boo-urns.

Stupidly funny, campy, zombie romp with some serious issues. Turns PC right on its head and hits it with a golf club. Watch this one with beers and the boys.

An over the top and somehow misogynistic horror comedy. Despite some mistakes, the movie is a complete blast of fun.
