What a depressing movie.

This was an enjoyable film which moves along quite nicely although it is a little bit cliche since there have been many 'the world is ending what do we do' movies already made in Hollywood. However it is witty and entertaining nonetheless.

One of the worst movies I’ve seen. I happened upon Don’t Look Up on Netflix, thinking that the cast was amazing. Instead, I found that the characters were shallow & stereotypical—especially Streep as the President, who was difficult to watch. The plot was silly & unbelievable. This mess went beyond satire to became trite. A true waste of time.

Dead on commentary about America today. Maybe more relevant now in 2025. The humor is subtle but readily identifiable if you have a brain.

This is one of those times where, not only did the critics get it wrong, they were way off. DiCaprio gives one of his best performances. This film so masterfully articulates the post-truth era we live in, and the frustrations at those who won't accept facts, i.e., reality.

Bloated and poorly paced, Don't Look Up is a sharp and superbly cast satire that nicely handles some of its central themes, but it is also a cluttered film that tries too many things and is really lacking in focus, flow and structure.

Movie is awesome but most "professional movie critics" (what a joke) like their easy capitalist life and dont want ppl to wake up.

Funny sci-fi comedy. Of course it’s a great cast of acting too, but the story stays consistent to the end.

Made me laugh and that's all that matters, very exciting and the comedy is good.

Leonardo's character frustrated us at times, but the rest of the cast and story were very good. There's drama and humor in this film, and it has some important messages - enjoy your time with friends and loved ones!

This film is exceptional; I registered solely to compose this review. While intended as an over-the-top comedy with exaggerated points, it surprisingly offers an accurate depiction of contemporary Western culture. The actors bear a striking resemblance to real-life individuals in comparable positions. With Elon Musk's current prominence mirroring the character Peter, and NASA's discussion of a newly found comet, the film may foreshadow near-future events and societal reactions (hopefully not, but such is the possibility). I have viewed this film at least four times, discovering new jokes and double meanings with each viewing. I highly recommend it for those seeking comedic entertainment.

Don't Look Up is what happens when a political op-ed gets a Hollywood budget. The film mistakes its heavy-handed metaphor for genuine insight, wagging its finger at audiences while congratulating them for being in on the joke. It's political commentary for people who already agree with its message, offering characters so cartoonishly stupid that viewers can feel superior without confronting any uncomfortable truths about their own complicity. Don't Look Up believes it's delivering a wake-up call but instead creates an echo chamber dressed up with A-list actors and special effects—allowing audiences to feel they've engaged with important issues without challenging them to think beyond simplistic 'people in power are idiots' messaging. It's activism as entertainment that ultimately serves neither purpose effectively.

Hands down the most boring movie I've ever seen. Totally incoherent. The only movie I've ever fast forwarded through.

These were two wasted hours. I do not recommend this movie. It never made me laugh and then I realized it was a comedy genre and still didn’t change my perception. I’m impressed the casting is top 1 great actors, for literally nothing special.

I feel this appeals to people from outside the USA as it’s what we seem to see on a regular basis when looking there. I enjoyed the story and the acting, could have maybe been condensed slightly. Funnily enough I think now a days the politicians would point up at it to distract from what they are doing on the ground.

This shows what is going on and America. It's crazy accurate exploded.

Nine out of ten Netflix movies are bad, and this was no exception. Star studded film with almost zero entertainment value.

The movie has its charm but what I love best about this movie- is that this movie is one of the easiest to fall asleep to. There are seldom any loud noises and a lot of the dialogue is soft spoken. I have used it as a nap/sleep motivator for almost a year.

This film is really entertaining. The acting was good, Leonardo DiCaprio always kills it with his roles. Some what shows a realistic reaction to a meteor on collision course to Earth. Love the twists.
