By far my favorite Robert Patrick role (yes, more than T2). This movie is my kinda cheese, and I want more. Wish there was a sequel reprising the entire cast.

Maybe this film should be renamed as a "Double Disaster." This adaption not only failed to follow the source material, but the cheesy dialogue, plot, choppy editing and pacing and wooden and stale performances made the live action film rathet clumsy.

Well....it's better than the Super Mario Bros. Movie but that's not saying much, but also not as good as the 95' Mortal Kombat relatively speaking. The acting is bad, once Satori is killed the quality of the acting takes a big step down the rest of the film with the two leads feeling clueless half the time rather than charming. The cinematography is bad filled with bad over the top camera angles, cheap looking practical effects, bad CGI, and sets that don't fit well together. This can't decide set wise if it wants to go for a RoboCop type of vibe or a Kung Fu Kids Comedy half the time. The music is not good being over the top and eaggerated at worst and perfectly generic and forgettable at best. The editing is Bad along with not very good pacing. Half the time things just happen like the Boat chase or go on way too long. As stated previously this doesn't know what kind of film it wants to be and struggles for direction constantly with a bad plot. It makes you roll your eyes half the time at how stupid it is and the other half how badly its done. Skip this even if your a fan of the Video Games.

A truly rotten, awful film - cheap looking, amateurish, boring. Even worse - it does nothing with the basic premise of the video game (the machine-toting bad guy Willy kidnaps the hero's girlfriend), swapping it out for some nonsense about a medallion. Just an abysmal film.

On the last 10 minutes of the movies thats when they finally put together both dragons and wear the famous custom and 5 kicks to the villain,end of movie.

This is in my top 10 favorite movies. It is NOT a good movie, it is a product of its time, it makes for a great sit down and have fun bad movie. If you've played Double Dragon on the NES or in the arcade, and expect this movie to be a 1 to 1 transition of that, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for a 90s interpretation of a post-apocalypse L.A. with goofy over the top villains you have to see this at least once. Although full of violence, there's no actual blood, so you shouldn't be afraid of your kids seeing this one. Final note, people who aren't fans of fart jokes will also be angry at a certain point.

Cheesy film what made me laugh but went on a bit too long.

I think the directors were trying to make the actors give bad performances. I have seen all 3 stars do strong work, this is laugh out loud bad the entire time.

Those rating this movie poorly just have been expecting more. This is fun 90s campy schlok at its finest.

Its not as bad as some people make it out to be. Not great by any stretch of the means. I was never bored at any time in the movie.

Having never played the original video game nor snorted a mountain of cocaine as white and piled as high as Robert Patrick's hair here, I can't say which is to blame for this insanity. Cannonical scale: 5/5 — Worth watching for Alyssa Milano's hybrid jorts-slash-lingerie outfit alone.

Did you know video game movies were bad before Uwe Boll started directing them? True, this is no Mortal Kombat: Annihilation but it comes close with the painfully simply storyline, terrible dialogue that makes that of the Michael Bay Transformers series sound natural and hilariously campy tone. But at least the costume design, special effects and action sequences are undeservedly good.

It's total 90s cheese with bad acting, but it made me chuckle and it was really geared towards kids.

This movie is a classic

Sweet baby Jesus! That may be the most 90s and ridiculous movie you can come across. It's quite the trainwreck to behold. I'd say it's one of the worst video game movies, but at least it's soo bugnuts it has weird charm TO THE MAXXXX!!!

It can be entertaining in a "so-bad-it's-good" way, but it's a childish movie that more or less bears little resemblance to the original video game.

I dare you to watch this. You will regret it!
