Down to You Reviews
Filme mais ou menos,o roteiro é fraco, o filme não tem nada demais, só cenas românticas e coisas sem graça, o filme tem músicas boas mas não melhora o filme, com tudo isso eu não recomendo esse filme.
My fav movieeeeeee 🍿
Good actors, yet the movie wasn’t that great. Kept hoping it would get better, it didn’t. Felt like the main actors really didn’t like each other which made it hard to believe their characters were in love.
That’s a new one . A guy in love having to worry about a predatory pornstar lol 2.1. It kinda felt like they knew they wanted a rom com with Julia and Freddi but didn’t think they’d need to have a plan
This is one of my favorite movies! It's relatable in many ways and silly. Every time I watch it my emotions run with it.
Don't come "Down to You" for a movie that's both worthy of the Burnin' Medallion Of Badness and forgettable. Characters: 0/5 Story: 0/5 Acting: 0.5/5 Direction: 0.5/5 Cinematography: 0/5 Soundtrack: 0/5 Overall: 0.5/5
The script is hit or miss but the cast is a blast and make it entertaining.
I literallly think this is the most absolute garbage of an excuse for a film. What the hell were you thinking when making this? That is not ok. How do you treat people like that, that was torture. Do better. Don't watch.
Cute romantic comedy
Storyline was awful but I super love Julia Stiles
Not original, and not much done to it to put a different spin on it. I did fall asleep during this, because I was tired, because I was watching it very late, but I think this could have some re-watch value, and get better on each viewing. Not very funny either. Also some really bad things written in that resulted in those parts being poorly performed. It's not Freddie Prinze Jr's best movie, either. But, it's not like, completely awful. I'm not surprised it has a three percent, though, even though if I don't completely agree with it.
It wasn't bad. But it wasn't great either. The acting was mostly ok but the dialogues seemed kind of... wrong. One thing that stayed with me is the unusual path the story-telling followed
I will always love Freddie and Julia. I grew up watching them and they are amazing actors. I can't believe that this movie got such a low score.
This rom-com is replete with sophomoric humor and a cookie cutter plot. However, there is good chemistry between Prinze and Stiles and the unexpected (by me) appearance of Ashton Kutcher making this entertaining enough for me.
This movie was fresh and entertaining, critics say boring, but listen, it is a movie, and a not Presidential Campaign. We need more movies like this one. Not a bunch of trash.
A guilty pleasure that I keep watching because Julia Stiles & Freddie Prinze Jr should have made for a much better flick. Great music. Takes me back to high school.
- It's pleasant enough but there wasn't much passion between the two leads - both when they're in love and when they're fighting. They were a car accident and they barely reacted! The whole movie feels a bit flat and monotone. - This has like every 2000 teen/rom com player in it: Freddie Prince Jr, Julia Stiles, Selma Blair, Rosaria Dawson, Ashton Kutcher. - I would have preferred more narration/focus on Imogen's life. - Harry Winkler was a nice addition as Al's dad. - There's no way they were in college and waited several months to sleep together. - The movie suggests doings a "reality cooking show" as if it's absurd idea. Now their version was a lot like "Cops" (which would be ridiculous). But there are so many reality cooking shows now that it's funny to see the idea framed as a very bizarre concept. - The cameo of "The Man Show" reminds me how gross that show was. "Must be gay because he likes to cook hardy har har" - ew. - Why is Ashton Kutcher's musician character obsessed with eggs??? - The music in this movie is so early 2000s it's great. The fashion is also great - velvet spaghetti strap dresses, oriental mini dresses, cardigan sets with formal skirts. - Rosaria Dawson's character as the trippy hippie girl was the best part. At least she made some facial expressions.
Just didn't come across--the plot didn't ' make a lot of sense in any meaningful way.
