Sure: Paperthin story, goofy humor, flat characters. BUT: Most gags land, it is funny and foremost very offensive. Works for me, it´s worth a watch

In the 90s, there were a lot of great comedy films released that were pretty stupid, and over time it seemed as though movie makers began to think the stupidity was the selling point. This film is a perfect example of that. It's vastly more stupid than funny, but maybe watchable, if you love stuff like Biodome. Ironically, I can never seem to remember much about this movie after having seen it.

This poor movie has a 16% rating but it is the peak cinematic masterpiece of 2000. This is my new favorite film and I think it deserves the world and you should watch it immediately right neow. The peak technological cgi used in this movie is breathtaking. The character development is beyond our years, and the storyline is very deep and meaningful. All around, a cinematic masterpiece. Thank you.

I can’t just brush this off as a guilty pleasure. If we lived in a world where the Kardashians won prime-time Emmys and Cheech Marin was Hollywood’s most decorated actor, then maybe—just maybe—I could wholeheartedly recommend this stoner comedy. It’s near perfection in its ridiculousness and, to be honest, just as fun as Bill & Ted in terms of comedic antics… just without the same lovable characters. Do I dare call it a truly stupid movie? I do. And I dare you to watch it—if you feel like shedding a few brain cells. Dude… Sweet!

Its hilarious it totally fits for both of their characters they play them perfectly, stoner type of idiots its great!! All kinds of different things going on its funny. I can see how it would be kind of a low budget type of movie but it is hilarious especially for ashton cuz hes not as funny as he used to be to be this was as funny as it gets for him! Gotta watch it if u love to laugh at a stoner TYPE of movie!

And Then, I'm Gonna Come In There, And I'm Gonna Put My Foot, In Your Ass If I See A BAD REVIEW ON THIS FILM AGAIN!

This movie feels like they wrote thirty skits and decided there was a story between each and every one of these skits. With a plot that is completely off-the-walls and nonsensical, but surprisingly fun, the movie can’t keep to one spot of the film. It is chaotic, and very “of its time” but it has its moments that are absolutely hilarious and brilliantly acted and written. However, this is at the cost of many moments that felt like they were very…mediocre and subpar. Seann William Scott and Ashton Kutcher are the best part and even then, their scenes were hit or miss. This movie has a lot of ups and downs, and some scenes were absolutely fantastic, while others just were kinda there for the heck of it.

Critics do not like this movie, and that is because this movie is not made to be analyzed or put together like a puzzle. Classic movie, goofy humor, and intentionally almost brain dead acting. This however, is what makes the movie good to me. We struggle sometimes in life, and at times we have to use our brains so much when we get home all we feel we can do is go to sleep. This might not be your cup of tea, but absolutely no thinking required, and a story and jokes so laughably bad it ends up being good. Much like we enjoy some smells that are considered bad, or occasionally find ourselves laughing at a fart joke you may kick yourself for giggling at, press play and laugh with your family about an action being so stupid, you couldn't think of it if you tried, because that would require no thinking what so ever.

Every movie has its own category and within its stock all category this movie is gold. Exactly why it's still around on major streaming services. We still love it.
