Employee of the Month Reviews
Criminally underrated. Consistently entertaining with some very funny moments.
Fun and funny! Great characters and a sweet story. Check it out. It's a hoot with a heart.
It is pretty good, entertaining comedy. Not the best comedy that I have seen though.
Not a bad family flick!
Not sure why I love this movie so much but I do.
The first thing I noticed about this movie was how much it reminded me of "Waiting", which came out 1 year prior. (Similar plots and similar acting styles of our main characters). The second thing I noticed was the cast. It's a real who's who of obsolete comedic talent. Dane Cook, Harland Williams, and Andy Dick... C'mon now. I will say that Cook has a certain charisma and charm that somewhat helps prop this one up. Dax Shepard's performance was even better, but neither was able to generate many laughs. The dialogue was largely unfunny, most of the deliveries felt awkward, and there weren't nearly enough workplace shenanigans for my taste. The potential for greatness was there, but strange casting choices and poor execution made it feel a cheap copy of its slightly more successful predecessor.
Amazed at the low score of this film, it's my go to film for a laugh.
I love this movie for the nostalgia factor but that's about it. To be honest the film is trash
Top tier comedy movie
It's not high-brow comedy, but it's not low-brow either. Just a fun romp that's easy to enjoy if you're looking for simple laughs and a good time. Harland Williams shines in his role and has one of the best lines in the movie concerning a certain drummer.
Basic stupid film, it'll pass time
For most people this movie is an average 1 time watch past time that will be forgotten in no time, however there is a particular kind of people such as myself who loves everything about this movie. We all have that film or song we put on when we feel low and down, for me there is no better cure for this than employee of the month.
I found this movie hilarious and have been watching it over and over for years. Try not to overanalyze it, its a dumb movie for silly laughs, nothing serious or deep to be found here.
Ages 13 and older!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring Dane Cook, Dax Shepard and Jessica Simpson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 43 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny and silly and that's the whole point. It's 17 years old solely made for the sake of humor and laughter. It was nice to go back to the "good old days" and watch something so silly and ridiculous and simply enjoy it for what it is.
completely charmless and even worse humorless.
Really funny and stupid.
Funny movie, dumb humor but most of the jokes land. Not the best comedy in the world but worth the watch. All the super low scores are from wanna be film critics who sniff there own farts.
This movie discusses something pretty important, but the point will almost certainly be missed because people are just trying to watch a comedy... and one that isn't very funny.... This is an effective commentary on the treatment and division of the working class, and has a lot of great allusion and historical context, but it really just falls flat because the commentary (it's sole redeeming factor) is completely missed unless you're looking for it. The characters are pretty unlikable and the acting doesn't help. If you've never considered that this film can be trying to teach you something, I recommend rewatching it and looking out for class discussion, but don't expect to love it afterwards because it still isn't very good.
