This movie really made me think about the world. I take everything for granted, but there are people out there being persecuted for their faith. As a person who lives in America, it's hard to really understand how it's like to be persecuted just because you have a strong belief in goodness. I would definitely recommend this movie to not just my friends and family, but to everyone so that we can all have a better understanding of what's happening in China and around the world.

A Real Story Narrated with Poetry I'm lucky being able to watch this masterpiece, Eternal Spring, that most people in China cannot. This film is touching my heart with the power of truth, braveness and wisdom. It's my first time to see 3D animation techniques in a documentary film. Amazingly, it has expanded the realm of my perception. You can imagine while listening a news report from a radio, your ears not only heard a real story narrated with a beautiful poetic language, but also could "see" the scenario, colorful, thrilling and appealing...... Eternal Spring, A wonderful name, A name of a beautiful city, A story of a group of legendary people, and An earnest prayer and a best wish from and to countless human hearts.

Got me asking myself repeatedly if I‘d have what it takes to stand and face a state-sponsored crackdown of the innocents. A true and modern story that displays uncompromising courage and unwavering human spirits from a group of individuals when facing unjust, defamation, persecution, and even death…yet rising above and finding a way to expose the lies and reveal the truth! The 5-star rating goes to those who had sacrificed and were killed by the communist regime that is still controlling China today.

It's a Wow, but "Wow" is certainly the wrong phrase to describe the documentary. I came out of the theater with a heavy heart. I am going to watch it for the third time in a couple of days. The courage, the suffering, and the hope -- all depicted too vividly in this film.

I was deeply moved to tears by the heroic deeds of the characters in the play. In places ruled by the devil CCP, there is no freedom of belief, and the people are deceived by the false lies fabricated by the government. Good people are persecuted, imprisoned or even persecuted to death!

It's a must-see! I strongly recommend.

Touching my heart. This persecution has lasted for more than twenty years and is still going on. It's interesting to see the CCP's spies attacking this good movie. This movie uses 3D to restore the scene at that time, which has an immersive feeling. Then the way of interview can better understand the mood of the parties involved. It's a pity that the persecution is not over yet, so it can't be go to the field to take more video. It is also because the persecution has not yet ended, and more things cannot be revealed. Hope that in the near future, more truths will be revealed. Hope the persecution will end soon!

I watched this film over a month ago, but its visceral message and dream-like animation still pops up in my memory without fail a few times a week. My usual film preference leans towards rom-com and 50s-90s classics, so this film was entirely out of my comfort zone but it's now one of my favorite movie experiences. Within 86 minutes, I was laughing out loud, celebrating, heartbroken, wrought with suspense, cheering with joy, and everything in between. Highly, highly recommend to anyone who wants to know what true heroism looks like. Marvel has a special place in my heart (and we don't talk about DC...) but Eternal Spring— THIS is a TRUE story of REAL people who sacrificed EVERYTHING to save the world from propaganda. They're not just characters from our imaginations, 2D figures we idolize and wish they were real. The Six are so admirable, I have no words to express the respect I have for them. I wouldn't have had the limitless courage they did, which really made me reflect on myself and who I am as a person. Thank you for making this movie. I look forward to seeing Eternal Spring make it to the Oscar's!

Riveting and moving! The skillful animations and beautiful scenes work well to tell the heartbreaking story of millions of people in China. The movie will touch your soul.

Eternal Spring is yourselfshe showed all of humanity when I saw the little boy play on the street during holiday, I believe that was true chinese culture, my tear came up, moved deeply whole story, anywhere you will be moved, yes here or there or, and there I really hope they could have passports, so they could live, they could get freedom, on that moment How do you think the hero means? As a Chinese American, all along I knew the name of the city, Chang Chun, where the real story depicted in the movie happened. Maybe I knew it too well to even think for more than a second about what it meant until I saw the English translation, Eternal Spring. A little embarrassed, I was struck by the beauty and the hope that jumps out of the two English words. As sad as some may feel about the story, somehow I had those uplifting feelings throughout. I guess it was the courage and bravery that kept it going.. Love the beautiful drawings, the drawer Daxiong is amazing. Very impressed by many stuff in the movie, the seamless transition between real human footage and animation, perfect pace, music May go see it again.

My daughter and I watched the film at Laemmle Royal last weekend. We were amazed by the drawings of Daxiong. The traditional Chinese style of art was so beautiful on the big screen! The story was really touching because it reflected the weakness of everyday people like you and me, but they chose to step out and do the right thing even though the sacrifice was huge. It is a heavy topic but the whole film was full of hope. I would like to watch it again because there were so many details that I did not catch.

Excellent movie, tells the real struggle that’s happening in China still today. The anime character are so artistic and story is so touching. Must see for anyone wants to understand the real China.

I enjoyed joining to see Eternal Spring.  I thought it was an eye opener of what had occurred in China. The movie was very well done and told the story well.  I have recommended other people to also attend.

Wow, what a film. Hard to believe this is happening in the 21st century, and in one of the biggest economies in the world. Normally its hard to watch such brutality for me, but the artistry of this movie made it not only bearable, but uplifting in the way the characters dealt with such a surreal situation. The interplay between the real life characters and illustrations was amazing, Ive never seen anything like that before. Really made the movie stand out. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

One of the best movie I ever watched, They are real heroes in the human world, From my own experience in China, I cannot imagine how these heroes suffered, their heart like diamond, nothing can change them.
