Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed Reviews

Apr 24, 2024

I had to watch this for a class. The amount of interviews with some pretty important people is impressive but Stein does a lot to bring the documentary down. Maybe with a different host this could have been something decent, but Ben Stein is just not it. Stein also just goes completely off the rails and tries to basically call all evolutionists Nazis. Yeah, it's not great. Please have more respect for your time and watch literally anything else.

A film that does nothing more but try to completely discredit the idea of "creation" from the perspective of evolution and science.

It explored the reason why the idea of intelligent design is not permitted to be openly discussed in the scientific and academic communities and what happens when someone insists on discussing it anyway. The film does not attempt to teach that the biblical account of creation is accurate, it only introduces that there is evidence of intelligent design all around us that contradicts evolution by natural selection. It is fascinating and disturbing to watch.

First off there are some misconceptions about this movie. It's widely misrepresented to be a film that aims to discredit evolution and prove intelligent design. Now it does indeed poke some holes at the credibility of the theory of evolution, but it doesn't go far enough as to definitively prove it right or wrong. Instead the real content and message of this film is two-fold. One: how there is currently discrimination and deliberate acts of censorship within the scientific community to cover up anyone proposing alternative theories to evolution, whether they be religious or secular based. Stein is trying to argue that in a society based upon freedom of thought and expression and allowing individuals to make up their own mind, shouldn't we be allowed to hear all theories out there and decide for ourselves what sounds right and what doesn't. But the current powers that be in academe are denying all of us this right. Second: this film exposes the dark side of the theory of evolution in how its logical end always leads to the dehumanizing of individuals deemed undesirable by the mainstream of society and eventual genocide of said individuals. Cause after all, if human beings are just a clump of cells, no more significant or important than the clump of cells that make up the moss on the tree, then what's the matter with killing a few to create a better humanity. And that logic ladies and gentlemen is how the Holocaust was born. Therefore Stein makes the grim warning that we must be careful keep a watchful eye on those who believe and disseminate this evolution dogma before they cause the next major dark genocide.

It really brings home the idea that radicalized Darwinist Evolution is nothing more than a fanatical religious belief, with no more merit than any other religion. XD

How can any human being spend two years travelling the globe talking (supposedly) to the worlds leading scientists about "Evolution", and still not know a) what it is, or even, b) what it is called ? Stein thinking that Evolution (or Darwinism as he incorrectly labels it) fails because it doesnt explain the origin of life (which is a completely different topic - Abiogensis), or explain thermodynamics or gravity (which again are completely different intellectual domains) would be like arguing "The bible doesnt mention how to bake bagels or change a car tyre, therefore the bible is wrong". Stein's ignorance and or intellectual dishonesty is beyond breathtaking - if there were a Nobel prize for intellectual dishonesty I would happily canvas politicians to nominate him.

I think it's about time a movie like this was made. My reading in the last two years confirms what this movie proclaims loud and clear. Richard Dawkins states he has "no idea" how life started, Richard conceded that aliens could have "designed a form of life that they seeded onto this planet" (but that these aliens would have had to evolve by Darwinian means, somehow to a very very high level). What crock! If there was a designer Richard, you don't get to say who it was, or how it happened. You are just a blob from the soup, remember? Richard also openly offers the statement near the end of the film that we may find a "signature of some sort of designer" . Yes Richard we know. That's what the whole film is wanting to tell you. That's what is being suppressed by so called "science". Richard goes on: "and that designer could well be a higher intelligence from elsewhere in the universe". Yes again, we know. "It couldn't just have jumped into existence spontaneously, that's the point," says Richard Dawkins. (But it's ok if things jumped out of the primordial slime? That's ok!) What Richard says in one minute here refutes all the books he has ever written about how we got here. Perfect!

This movie was fantastic. The establishment will tell you that only religious people have an "agenda" but ask any atheist for evidence for the nonexistence of God, and they have nothing, not even an augment for it. These are the same type of people that will tell us that abortion is about "women's rights" and "choice" and then tell women to run around with a pussy hat on, that's uplifting to women, oh wait, it's not. They're laughing at people that kill their babies and run around looking like an idiot with that hat on. You can see the evidence for the Genesis 6 giants all over the world. Take a trip to Israel along the Dead Sea and you can walk through the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and pull sulfur right out of the walls. How about standing inside the spilt rock of Moses, that and so much more is all out there to see. Or sit back on the couch and watch it all on YouTube The evidence for the bible is all over the place. Balance that with the evidence for Atheism, which is NOTHING. Who's pushing an agenda? The odds that this universe came about by chance is laughable. I wonder if anyone would take those odds if their life depended on it? Not one person, atheist, agnostic or religious would take those odds but were told it's a scientific fact. The amount of lies we're told is endless.

Real crap with huge bias. Intelligent Design has been judged in a court of law & the result was that it is simply renamed creationism and is NOT science. The thought that American students might have to study any of this as 'science' is very bad,and docos like this are dangerous.

Every desperate atheist and Darwinist locked in sync are doing exactly as expected: attacking good questions with insults. The review scores and their petty anger towards Ben Stein are completely avoiding the glaring fact about Darwinism that is indisputable: it's a mess. It's a poorly defined theory that is filled with too many unanswered questions. It's a theory that asks the same of its believers as any religion does: to accept most of it on faith. Those who are brave enough to look honestly at science can easily see the creator screaming from every part of it. Saying "here I am!". One huge way the critics, especially the ones with really thin skin, are being completely dishonest in their criticism is when they say the film proports that darwinists are nazis. The film does nothing even close to calling all Darwinists nazis. In fact it says constantly, many times, that "of course not all proponents of Darwinism are inclined to support naziism". The film couldn't have been more clear in what it's asking the viewer to do. It's asking the viewer to look at historical examples of what great supporters and believers of Darwin did with their mindset and how they wished to use it to change society, and it asks the viewer to simply question what they've been taught their whole life.

Excellent depiction of the science community and it's "religion"

This film was almost good.

OMG how many people did you need to cut mid sentence to make it appear they say something that you still need to twist and turn to make it vaguely appear it support your position?

amazing and very interesting

Interesting, to the point and sometimes even funny..... in the good way of course.

While watching this "documentary" with its unintentionally apt subtitle "No Intelligence Allowed", it's difficult to rid oneself of the nagging suspicion that it's a spoof. Assessed as a spoof it can be said to sort of work, at least partially. This film could be used to illustrate the concept of a "straw man argument", it's possible it doesn't make a single true statement about the "Theory of Evolution".

Great film! All the irrational hate over this movie shows it has touched a nerve with the high priests of the dogma of evolution.

Aug 21, 2016

does a great job of documenting the religious discrimination that goes on behind closed doors in university environments.

So basically what Im seeing here is: Rotten Tomatoes "reviews" have a heavy-handed bias towards any movie that does not toe the anti-Christian view that already dominates Hollywood. Witnessing this bias throughout to many different movies, Ill be getting my "reviews" elsewhere.
