Falling Inn Love Reviews
I so wanted this movie to work. I forgave the crass Gen z soundtrack that had no vibe and was the opposite of the romantic vibe the movie intended. I even forgave the crap side characters and the wooden acting. But the awful fixed smile acting from Demos et al was painful. I'll never get that time back.
As a New Zealander watching this movie I'm dumbfounded at how out of touch and un-new Zealand it is. Everything is wrong with it and most of the locals are Australian actors with Australian accents. The culture is all wrong. The slang is all Australian and when the main actress uses American sland the Australian actors seem to understand yet in reality not one New Zealander would. What a terrible movie. If this is the sort of crap Americans come ans film in my country. Please don't bother anymore.
One of the most boring romance movies I have ever watched. You can predict the end at the very beginning. I was hoping at least to see the beauty of New Zealand, but the movie only shows a tiny bit of it.
I absolutely love this film! Unlike other romcoms this one doesn’t let the female lead choose a small town over her loving boyfriend and great job. This one she genuinely builds a good relationship with the love interest and she has a good enough reason to stay where she ends up. I rewatch this over and over one of my favorites!
It's very nice movie ever!!!
This is a charm. For all those romantic comedy junkies this is a good choice. Set in a wonderful countryside it is great watching two people fall for each other.
Great movie!!! Like😉
I nearly gave up watching this, wouldn't watch it twice! Love the cheesy storyline but the bad casting and acting finished it for me.
how original, what a shocking ending too
Yikes, you know when something is too good to be true, it's most likely not except for me, I'm fantastic. For someone to give up everything based on an internet prize without confirming the details for sure is idiocy at it's finest. It's a barely passable rom com with really predictable storyline including all the character arcs that happens. It's now understandable why studios stopped doing theatrical released rom coms, it would be a miracle with most rom coms probably not making their money back after release. It's just cheaper to do them in bulk cheaply as filler for their online streaming content. This is a perfect example of that mentality put into action.
It seemed to be more of a drama/romance with some bits of comedy. It was entertaining and enjoyable. Not great, but good enough.
A nice romantic time killer
Am watching this movie with my gf as I am writing this. we're halfway through. I have to keep reminding myself how much i love her just to be able to suffer through this abomination of a movie. I am losing brain cells. this movie hurts. fuck! MAKE IT STOP! i love my gf, i love my gf, i love my gf....!!!
My wife liked the New Zealand scenery, which was why we stuck with it until the end. The story is cheesy and predictable. A very WOKE film: an empowered woman of colour, doesn't need a man to renovate her dilapidated hotel, alphabet representation, and I laughed out loud when she ordered 'sustainable roof tiles' are they even a thing?? Not the worse film I've ever seen, however not great.
This film is not great by any means, but if you're looking for a new rom/com to pass the time, give it a watch. It is a film that will give you a few laughs, whether you're laughing at it or laughing with it.
It wasn't really that great. Chemistry not great. The story is a bit boring. Like you don't really feel excited watching it. It's just normal.
