Josh Hartnett's go-for-broke performance gives Fight of Flight wings, sustaining this daffy action-comedy at an entertaining cruising altitude that refreshingly doesn't wear out its welcome.

Robert Daniels New York Times Hartnett and Chandran’s laid back chemistry steady the film’s turbulent tonal shifts, adding a punch that the shakily choreographed action lacks. May 10, 2025 Full Review Katie Walsh Tribune News Service Surprisingly, Hartnett’s Lucas hasn’t worn out his welcome, even if the movie around him has fallen apart midair. Ergo, the old truism has never been truer: When it comes to “Fight or Flight,” your mileage may vary. Rated: 2/4 May 10, 2025 Full Review William Bibbiani TheWrap Crackles with manic energy, fed at every turn by exhilarating fight choreography and a thoroughly game cast. Hartnett carries the whole silly, bone-crunching enterprise masterfully. May 9, 2025 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion A completely bonkers addition to the John Wick everyone’s-a-hit-man genre, and it suffers from being essentially a one-joke, repetitive affair. But Hartnett...make[s] what might have been a stiflingly claustrophobic trip more than bearable. Rated: B- May 15, 2025 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Much as director James Madigan tried, I wasn’t finding the comedy aspect of this action-comedy all that funny, nor did I ever really find myself as excited about the setting of the action. Rated: 5/10 May 15, 2025 Full Review Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media Hartnett's charisma keeps this frenetic airborne thriller—basically Bullet Train on a plane—watchable, even as the plot occasionally veers off course.
