Fighting Reviews
Not so fighting film, more Channing Tatum film (without a shirt).
I give this movie a 5 out of 5 stars because the fights scenes in the movie is way better than all the fighting movies I've seen and by the way fuck rotten tomatoes and the audience score who rate this movie a bad score
Not Bad but for it's name being Fighting I was expecting something like rocky but the main thing is the plot is not that great fights scenes are okay but the movie in general is just ok the only reason why it would get what it get is because of Channing Tatum
Not a terrible film. Decent acting. Terrance Howard plays a two bit hustler. He stumbles upon a struggling young man Channing Tatum that has a wicked punch. It entices him to set up a fight for money. Tatum takes on a few fights before he meets a childhood wrestling teammate. Emotions go back and forth from things that happened with Tatums father. This ofcourse sets up a epic fight between the once teammates for big money in NYC.
A very realistic take on how an actual street fight is and what makes it special is Tatum doing scenes with actual street fighters from the hood. But calling a movie "fighting" and having it more of "modeling" material is severely disappointing and ruins it for people. It does have a good realistic approach and it isn't insanely flashy and redicoulsy obnoxious which like I said is great but if you're looking for a movie about fighting, this isn't a great watch, but its alright. If you're looking to see ludcrous ammounts of a stud with his shirt off then this one is a must watch. I wanted to see fighting and not modeling and silly ammounts of body bragging. It has its moments of decent scraps but very few, and its really off putting for what the title of the movie is.
Obviously trying to be like Rocky, but the film is intriguingly okay with some of the script being awkward. Surprisingly the fight scenes aren't meat headed
Can't overstate how much I hated this film. The script was so bad. Terence Howard's acting was completely wooden. If I heard one more line like "so that's x thousand dollars, right?" "Yeah, you're gonna make x thousand dollars" I was ready fling my boot at the 온라인카지노추천.
Some terrible characterisation and plot details stop this film from achieving greatness.
I Loved the Movie. 😊
There's pretty much nothing to see other than some satisfaction for Tatum lovers. The story was thin as ice and contrived and the fight sequenced were dull as hell.
I thought this movie was pretty silly. The fight scenes are decent, but the plot is awful. The way the ease into the movie and just throw out a plot was dumb. Channing Tatum was new to the scene here and you could tell. Terrance Howard (who should get more lead roles) was the best here and really saved the movie. That said all that goes with the film just had nothing but eye rolling.
good fight scenes...I fast forwarded some of it. He should at least have to train to make it realistic, maybe do a push up.
Tatum and Howard make for a pair of cunning leads, but the script is too heavily reliant on cliches from previous underdog films to spark any true amounts of momentum it may attain.
Wow, I'm extremely particular when it comes to movies, and I was apprehensive with the 39% review this got, but it's way off. This is a well written, well directed, and extremely well acted movie that kept me on the edge of my seat to the end. Sorry, but this is up there with Rocky I...maybe better.
Channing Tatum is hot, but honestly an unforgettable film. Fighting didn't really do much to capture my attention (apart from Channing Tatum); I found myself getting pretty bored. The film is about struggling street hustler, Shawn MacArthur (Tatum), whose luck changes when he meets con artist Harvey Boarden (Terrence Howard); who offers him the chance to be a street fighter. Soon Shawn gets a name for himself for beating his opponents. There's always got to be a bit of romance thrown in the mix and Shawn finds himself lusting after single mom Zulay (Zulay Henao). Channing Tatum is likeable in his role, but I found the other characters bland and forgettable. It doesn't help that I'm not particularly a fan of films about life on the street so this really wasn't my thing at all. I thought the script and the storyline weren't very strong and I got bored really easily, only paying attention every now and then. This film is nothing special. Guys might like it and if you're happy enough to see Channing Tatum on the screen despite a bad storyline, this is the film for you. Channing Tatum was the only good thing about this movie, I enjoyed gawping at him, but it takes a lot more than a hot actor to make a good movie. Grade: D
