Final Destination 3 Reviews
'Final Destination 3' is another dud from this franchise, even if it isn't anything that I'd consider truly terrible - just real forgettable. The plot is boring, the repetitiveness is starting to ring as true as expected. They aren't trying to add any freshness, just respinning the same wheel. The cast are OK, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the better lead compared to this entry's predecessor. Those onscreen aren't strong enough to make up for the movie's many other shortcomings, though. At least the effects and deaths are still solid, certainly the best element of these follow-ups. I can't say I'm expecting much from the final two sequels, here's hoping they tried to add new intrigue - something that has been missing since the gist of the plot was revealed in the original.
Final Destination 3 sticks to the same formula as its predecessors, but this time, it feels even more like a predictable checklist. The plot follows the usual setup, but instead of building on the lore or adding depth, it throws in a new gimmick that doesn’t really go anywhere. The script is as basic as it gets, with characters that barely feel fleshed out, making it hard to care about their survival. The movie is more focused on elaborate death sequences than anything else, and while some of them are creative and "cool", the buildup feels repetitive. The third act tries to throw in a twist, but it ends up feeling pointless, like an afterthought to pad the runtime. Visually, the film does a solid job with its cinematography, making the deaths feel intense and stylized, but the directing feels more interested in shock value than actual suspense. The acting is passable at best, with performances that feel serviceable for the genre but lack emotional weight. The score and sound design do their job in setting up tension, though they rely on the same jump-scare tricks as before. Overall, it’s an entertaining watch if you’re in it just for the over-the-top death scenes, but if you were hoping for a fresh take on the concept, this one doesn’t bring much to the table.
Mostly dumb fun. I just think it has some of the silliest and weakest-executed deaths of the series up to its point, and the dialogue is hard to get through without a few shots. 🍅
While not original it is still bloody and good. The idea is not original as it is a sequel but instead of adding something new like how Final Destination 2 is the only one where they lived it instead followed the original idea. I still found the kills to be very good though and caused me to have a fear of roller coasters for a while. Not the best but still a pretty good movie. Much better than the next movie in the franchise though.
Once again, Final Destination has outdone itself. Not sure if the next one will outdo this one as this was amazing and the next one is the subject of absolute vitriol from the fanbase, but this was absolutely spectacular. Let's just get started. As this is a standalone sequel to Final Destination 2, it's not connected to the first two films and we don't need to talk about the connections. But the plot is still interesting: it's a rollercoaster this time and we see Wendy getting fully affected by losing people close to her in the accident. But this time, they fully get into looking for the signs and clues about how they'll die. It's an exploration of the concept in more detail, essentially. But the best part of the movie for me is the vibe. Especially at the theme park, it has the nostalgic vibe of a school trip at night where everyone's hanging out and having fun, as much fun as they can have at least. And the sombre vibe after the rollercoaster accident is a big departure from the vibes of this film's predecessors, but good as it shows what Wendy's feeling. Great film overall. Overall, a great standalone sequel to Final Destination 2. Gonna be a bit before the next one but I look forward to it!
Final destination 3 is the best sequel ever is easily one of the franchise’s finest, with a killer setting—a collapsing rollercoaster that hits a universal fear—and some of the most iconic deaths in the series. Winstead is wonderful

I love all of the Final Destination movies. It's all complete drivel but they're always so so fun. This one wasn't necessarily as good as the second one or the first one, I definitely think that the series could have ended with FD2.
Absoulity Fantastic Movie,Miss Winsteade Is Wonderful.
“This Ride Will Be The Death Of You.” I thought roller coasters were scary. This just proves my theory. 5/5 stars.
Loved it! This movie kept references from the original one; the storyline now being stronger. This one for sure amped up on the gore!
Dissapointed, the characters were so annoying just no the worst of the franchise so far
The best of the series so far, I still have to watch the last two
if you have already seen 1 and 2 o the final destination series you should watch 3 as to have seen the whole series at the end but I feel as this film although morbid like the others is very predicable unlike the first two where you were surprised how everything happened. in this one there are too many hints and its obvious what will happen to who unlike the first where there was more confusion. if you are watching for the gore i'd rate this a 4.5 as this film has some morbid deaths
The Final Destination franchise is a rollercoaster of hits and misses, with each film offering a unique experience. The first film was a standout with its incredible cast, well-choreographed death scenes, and impressive CGI, creating a thrilling and memorable viewing experience. It sets the stage for the rest of the franchise and is a must-watch to dive into the series. The fear-inducing nature of the first film sticks with you, making you wary of certain scenarios like logging trucks on the interstate. The subsequent films maintain the suspense and entertainment value, although some may not reach the same heights as the original. Final Destination 3 introduces a roller coaster theme, adding a new dimension to the series with a focus on amusement park thrills. While it may not live up to the standards set by its predecessors, the film still offers an engaging watch, thanks to its strong casting and visual effects. Final Destination and Final Destination 5 continue the franchise's trend of captivating audiences with their thrilling storylines and engaging characters. While they may not reach blockbuster status, they succeed in keeping viewers entertained and invested in the series. Overall, the Final Destination franchise is a mixed bag, with each installment bringing something different to the table. While some films may not shine as brightly as others, the series as a whole offers an enjoyable viewing experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
It's not a bad film, but inferior to previous ones that had a better script. It ends up being a kind of generic sequel without presenting anything new and relevant (except for a new way of showing signs, and of course, some new ways of deaths).
Probably the most gory final destination movie not to mention the tanning scene
