Now this is an incredible film. Free of all of Hollywoods agenda, purely focused on the story that occurred and connecting the viewer to the story. I walked away know 1000% more about the important stories of the car and racing world. This movie truly captured the essence of the GT40 journey, the relationship of Carol Shelby and Ken Miles, and the absolute legend they both are. Bravo on this film.

Super fun car movie is great!

An excellent film that tells a great story with fantastic directing and performances.

Ford v Ferrari is an absolutely fantastic film with amazing acting and writing. I could say this is the Top Gun: Maverick of racing films, but it's a lot more accurate the other way around. The characters are fantastic. Ken has a great arc, while the other characters just make you smile, with how good they are. There are some silly moments in the film, for example the hand to hand fight on the sidewalk, but that also just made me smile, like the whole film. I love these kinds of movies that just make me happy. There are also iconic moments like the scene where Henry Ford nods. I thought it's the kind of predictable movie with tons of great moments, but I was left in shock near the end. At the end of the day this is a true story, right? The cinematography is beautiful, I love how James Mangold uses lighting and colours in his later films. I've seen his three latest movies and they look the same, but I love that, I hope his Star Wars film will look just as gorgeous. I loved the sound and the use of silence. The editing is amazing. I started this movie tired, but I couldn't get my eyes of the screen for a second. It's two and a half hours long and it's utterly engaging. The casting is perfect, the acting performances are great, I genuinely believe that Christian Bale is one of the greatest actors alive. Ford v Ferrari is absolute cinema.

Leaving my first RT review here so I’ll remember to watch it again one day. I’m not usually a fan of car movies, but this one might just be my favorite if not my top 1 right now. I loved the cast and the way the lines were delivered. The racing scenes pulsed with raw adrenaline, each moment more intense than the last. Love how they end the movie. A heartwarming feeling — something I haven’t felt from a movie in a long time.

Just an overall wonderul film about USA going to war with Europe. Steller performances and a must see for anyone.

An amazing retelling of an iconic motorsport story, a must watch for not just car lovers.

Regretted not seeing it sooner, as I never knew it was a historical piece. (For some reason I confused it with the fast and furious sequels). Glad I had already seen the movie about Ferrari. The acting was superb, and the story was accessible even to someone like me who is not a big racing fan. Afterwards I did look into where the movie deviated from the historical facts. I think the screen play really stood out, with some memorable scenes.

Ford v Ferrari - 8/10. Ford Vs Ferrari is a high octane, purely fun, biopic. Starring two of the best actors of this generation, Matt Damon and Christian Bale, the film takes us on a journey of friendship, egos, automotive rivalry, and determination. I was unaware of Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles and the history that they had in racing. Going into the movie not knowing anything, it made for a great lesson in the history of racing. Both the actors are effortless in their acting, and both actors look like they had incredible fun while doing the film. James Mangold, who directed the excellent Logan and some solid biopics in Girl Interrupted and Walk The Line, directs this film really well. He educates the audience but doesn't shy away from bringing the fun factor into the equation. The racing scenes are loud and exciting. They are shot in such a real and grounded way, and it offers a different perspective to how we see the lives of car racers. Josh Lucas and Jon Bernthal are standouts as Ford executives in the supporting cast. Cinematography is also really splendidly done, and seeing all the recreations of the classic Shelby GT cars is a really great kick for any car lover out there. And for a film that runs at 2 and half hours, you can barely feel the film lag as its paced at a really good rate. The film does go on familiar and predictable grounds at times, but that familiarity works in its favour for the most part. Go watch it once it comes out!

I’ve unfortunately only watched this masterpiece once. It’s unfortunate because this movie is absolutely freaking awesome.

E claro a parte icônica onde Enzo humilha os executivos da Ford. E ao final a corrida e onde tiram a glória de Ken Milles por interesses da Ford. E o final trágico de Milles que de volta aos EUA e novos teste para o próximo carro, Milles sofre um acidente fatal. Um drama ao final. Roteiro e enredo muito bem elaborados em todos os sentidos e principalmente na atuação de Bale. Vale apena assistir? Com certeza, ainda mais aos amantes de automobilismo. Nota: 9

Love this movie. Fun to watch.

Absolutely amazing!

So many unnecessary, unrealistic and cringe scenes. For a racing movie, it is damn slow. I did not feel any adrenaline until 1 and a half hours into it. Do not expect to learn anything here, it's a movie that went towards melodrama and comedy.

Back when this movie was nominated for a few Oscars, there wasn't much hype around it. Most of the attention that year was dedicated to Parasite, Jojo Rabbit and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I'm not sure why I didn't watch it then, but I'm glad that I watched it now. Both lead actors were fantastic, the sound mixing is gorgeous and I was glued to the screen from start to finish. This film is a testament that there are great, true stories out there that need to be told.
